The practice room hummed with the electric energy of young talent, the sound of sneakers squeaking on the polished floor intermingling with the upbeat rhythm of Stray Kids' "District 9." The Xdinary Heroes were taking a much-needed break from their rigorous rehearsal schedule, but Jungsu, the keyboardist, vocalist, and second eldest member, felt the pulse of the music in his veins. As O.de joined him, the two shared a playful glance, and with a nod of mutual understanding, they launched into an impromptu dance, channeling the song's infectious energy.

Jungsu's body moved instinctively, his passion igniting every step and turn. The choreography was intricate, especially the floor sequence that required both precision and flair. He threw himself into the performance, lost in the rhythm, his heart racing in sync with the beat.

"Come on, Hyung! Show me what you've got!" O.de encouraged, his eyes sparkling with enthusiasm.

The sequence reached its climax, and Jungsu pushed himself further, executing a spin that sent him spiraling into the final move. But in his excitement, he misjudged his landing. The world slowed as he felt his foot slip, his body toppling to the ground in a split second.

The impact was jarring. A sharp pain shot through his wrist as he caught himself, an involuntary yelp escaping his lips. He glanced down, horror gripping him as he realized he was clutching his right hand, the pain radiating from his wrist.

"Jungsu-hyung!" O.de rushed to his side, concern etching his features. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine," Jungsu forced a smile, despite the tears brimming in his eyes. "Just a little fall."

O.de's expression darkened with worry, but before he could press further, Jungsu waved him off, not wanting to burden his younger friend or disrupt the practice atmosphere. They had a big performance for JYP Nation coming up, and the last thing he wanted was to be the cause of any delay or concern.

The practice resumed, but as the music pulsed around him, Jungsu felt a sinking dread. His hand throbbed painfully, the initial adrenaline giving way to a sharp ache that coursed through his wrist and fingers. He tried to shake it off, but with each movement, he felt the pain intensify.

As the session concluded, he quietly excused himself under the pretense of needing to practice alone. He retreated to a small corner of the practice room, grabbing his keyboard. Sitting down, he placed his fingers on the keys, but the moment he tried to play, a searing pain shot through his hand. A whimper escaped him, and he bit his lip, trying to stifle the sound. Tears pricked his eyes as he desperately tried to move his wrist, but the pain was relentless.

"Come on, just a little more," he whispered to himself, determined to push through. But the moment he pressed down on the keys, a loud whimper slipped out, echoing in the silence of the empty room.

Outside, Han and Felix from Stray Kids were walking past, their conversation fading as they both froze, hearing the muffled sounds of distress coming from the practice room.

"Did you hear that?" Han asked, glancing at Felix with concern.

"Yeah, it sounded like someone's in pain," Felix replied, his voice laced with worry.

Without another word, they rushed to the door, opening it to find Jungsu hunched over his keyboard, clutching his injured hand, tears glistening in his eyes.

"Jungsu!" Han exclaimed, immediately rushing to his side, while Felix followed closely behind. "What happened?"

"I'm fine," Jungsu tried to reassure them, forcing a smile through his pain. But the quiver in his voice betrayed him.

"Clearly you're not fine!" Han insisted, kneeling next to him. "You need to see a doctor."

Jungsu shook his head vehemently. "No, it's was just a little fall. I'll be okay. I promise."
