Minjae stretched his legs, feeling the soreness from hours of dancing settle into his muscles. They had been filming the "Homeboy" music video for the past couple of days, and the high-energy scenes were taking their toll on everyone. However, as the leader, main rapper, and main dancer, Minjae felt a sense of responsibility to keep the energy high and his members' morale strong. It was a rare break between shoots, and the members were spread out, resting wherever they could. Some were lying in the sand, soaking up the warmth of the sun, while others chattered away, enjoying the momentary reprieve from the demanding schedule.

"Hey, let's have a jumping contest!" Yechan suggested, his voice filled with excitement.

Minjae grinned, never one to back down from a challenge. The younger members quickly got on board, laughing and teasing each other about who could jump the highest.

"You're going to regret this," Minjae said playfully, rolling his shoulders back. "I'm still the best jumper."

Sumin chuckled. "Yeah, right. You're getting old, Minjae hyung."

That comment fueled his competitive spirit. They lined up, laughter echoing in the salty air as they prepared to jump. On the count of three, everyone launched themselves into the air. Minjae went all out, determined to outdo the younger members and prove his leadership in even the smallest things.

However, as he landed, a sharp pain shot through his right ankle. His foot hit the ground at an awkward angle, and for a split second, he felt his ankle twist beneath him. His breath caught in his throat, but he masked the pain with a quick, strained laugh.

"Not bad, huh?" Minjae forced a grin as he shook out his leg, trying to ignore the burning pain. His ankle throbbed, but he brushed it off. No way he could show weakness now, not during an important video shoot.

Junmin glanced at him curiously. "You good, Minjae?"

"Of course! Just stretching my legs a bit," Minjae replied, waving him off.

He knew it was more than just a small tweak, but there was no way he could slow down the shoot. They had two more days to film, and the last thing he wanted was to be the reason they fell behind schedule. As the leader, he felt it was his duty to push through. After all, he couldn't let the team down.

By the time they resumed filming, the pain in Minjae's ankle had worsened, but he gritted his teeth and kept going. The intricate dance moves, the sharp turns, and the running shots all sent jolts of agony through his foot, but he refused to show it. Each time they called "Action," he forced his body to move with the same fluidity he was known for, but inside, it felt like his ankle was on fire.

Sumin watched him closely, his eyes narrowing as Minjae's movements seemed less precise. Minjae usually moved like water, with a smoothness that came effortlessly, but now there was a stiffness, a slight hesitation in his steps. Sumin noticed the way Minjae tried to shift his weight off his right foot when he thought no one was looking.

Junmin's worry only grew. He had always been close to Minjae and knew something was off. "You've been kind of quiet, Minjae," he mentioned during a break, trying to probe gently. "Everything okay?"

"Yeah, just tired. It's been a long couple of days," Minjae replied, his voice steady but guarded.

Junmin didn't push further, but a sinking feeling settled in his stomach. Minjae was hiding something.

The next day, the swelling in Minjae's ankle had become unbearable. He could feel the tightness in his shoe, but still, he pushed on, refusing to be the reason the team slowed down. His limp was barely noticeable to the untrained eye, but Seeun, always observant, caught it.
