The rain drummed rhythmically against the metal roof of the outdoor stage as BM took a deep breath, looking out at the sea of umbrellas and cheering fans. It was a dreary day, but the energy in the air was electric. KARD had a reputation for putting on spectacular performances, rain or shine, and BM was determined to make this show unforgettable.

"Are you ready to rock this?" J.Seph, his bandmate and fellow rapper, asked, slapping him on the back.

BM nodded, his heart racing with excitement and a hint of nervousness. "Let's give them a show they won't forget!"

The setlist was packed with high-energy tracks, and BM felt the weight of his role as the lead dancer and rapper pressing down on him. He wanted to impress not only the fans but also his members. They had all worked so hard to prepare for this event, and he didn't want to let anyone down.

As the music began, the crowd erupted in cheers, their enthusiasm igniting a fire in BM's chest. He fed off their energy, launching into the choreography with passion. He could see the smiles on the faces of the fans, their cheers washing over him like a wave.

The rain made the stage slippery, but BM was too caught up in the moment to care. He executed each move with precision, his body moving fluidly through the choreography. He added extra flair, pushing himself to go beyond what they had practiced. The adrenaline coursed through him, making him feel invincible.

But as he attempted a particularly difficult spin, his foot slipped on the wet surface of the stage. Time seemed to slow as he lost his balance, and before he knew it, he was falling. The impact sent shockwaves through his back, and he hit the ground hard, the music blaring on without pause.

The world around him spun for a moment, and he could hear the gasps from the crowd. Pain shot through his back, radiating like fire through his nerves. He lay there for a moment, stunned, trying to collect his thoughts.

"BM-oppa!" Jiwoo's voice broke through the haze as she rushed to his side. "Are you okay?"

He forced himself to sit up, gritting his teeth against the pain. "I'm fine," he said, even as he felt his heart racing in a different way—panic beginning to creep in. He couldn't let them down, not now. Not when the crowd was still cheering.

"Are you sure?" J.Seph knelt beside him, concern etched on his face. "You took quite a fall."

BM looked at his bandmates, the worry in their eyes only making his frustration grow. "I can finish the performance," he insisted, pushing himself to stand. He winced as pain shot through his back, but he straightened up, determined to keep going. The adrenaline was still pumping, masking some of the pain.

"BM-oppa, just take a minute!" Somin urged, stepping closer. "You don't have to push through this."

But BM shook his head, refusing to back down. "I can do it," he said firmly. "Just give me a second."

As the music resumed, BM rejoined the performance, his body moving instinctively as he forced himself to dance. But every step felt heavier, each movement a reminder of the pain in his back. He struggled to keep his focus, the thrill of the performance fading with every passing moment. He could feel the crowd's energy, but it felt distant, muffled under the weight of his injury.

The last few minutes of the set felt like an eternity. He pushed through, gritting his teeth against the pain, determined not to let the audience see how much he was struggling. As the final notes of their last song echoed through the venue, he forced a smile, but inside, he felt like crumbling.

The cheers of the crowd faded as they exited the stage, and the moment they were behind the curtains, BM's façade cracked. He leaned against the wall, trying to catch his breath, but every inhale sent sharp jolts of pain through his back.
