Yeonjun had always been careful, or at least, he tried to be. He took his responsibilities seriously-the pressure of being the eldest member of TXT, the expectations from the company, from fans, and from himself. But lately, it had been harder to manage everything. The endless schedules, the lack of sleep, the constant stress-it all felt like it was slowly crushing him.

He hadn't been feeling well for weeks now. The headaches were relentless, his muscles ached from back-to-back practices, and there was an overwhelming exhaustion that no amount of sleep seemed to fix. He knew the members had noticed how run-down he looked, how he dragged himself through rehearsals, but he kept telling himself he could push through it. He always had before.

The painkillers had become a habit. He didn't even think much of it when he reached for them anymore. One in the morning, two at night, sometimes more if the headaches got really bad. The bottle was always there, and Yeonjun figured if he could just get through another day, he'd be fine. Besides, it wasn't like he was doing anything dangerous. He was just trying to cope.

That evening, after a grueling day of rehearsals, Yeonjun sat alone in the dorm's living room, staring blankly at his phone. His mind was a haze of exhaustion and discomfort, his body aching with every movement. He reached for the bottle of pills on the table, shaking a few into his hand without even counting.

One, two, three...he stopped paying attention. He just needed to make the pain go away, to feel something other than the crushing weight of fatigue and pressure.

But it wasn't long before something didn't feel right.

Huening Kai was the first to notice something was off. He had been in his room, playing a video game to unwind, when he heard the soft thud coming from the living room. At first, he didn't think much of it-probably just one of the others messing around. But something made him pause. It wasn't the usual playful noise he'd expect from Beomgyu or Taehyun. It was too quiet, too...off.

Curiosity and a strange sense of unease gnawing at him, Kai stood up and made his way to the living room. His eyes widened the second he walked in.

There, lying on the floor, was Yeonjun.

"Hyung?" Kai's voice trembled as he rushed forward, his heart hammering in his chest. He dropped to his knees beside Yeonjun, shaking him gently. "Hyung, wake up!"

Yeonjun's breathing was shallow, his eyes half-lidded and unfocused. The bottle of pills lay on the floor beside him, some of its contents spilled across the hardwood.

Kai's blood ran cold as he pieced it together. "Oh no... Hyung, no..."

His hands shook as he pulled out his phone, dialing Soobin's number with trembling fingers. The leader answered on the second ring.

"Soobin-hyung, it's Yeonjun-hyung! He... he's not responding-hurry, please!"

The next few hours were a blur. Soobin, Beomgyu, and Taehyun returned to the dorm in record time, their faces pale with panic. An ambulance had already been called, and they watched in horror as paramedics rushed in to tend to their hyung, who still hadn't fully regained consciousness.

Kai stood off to the side, his eyes red-rimmed and swollen from crying, Beomgyu's arm wrapped tightly around his shoulders. None of them knew what to say, none of them knew how to process what had just happened. Yeonjun had always seemed so strong, so put-together, but now... seeing him like this, fragile and vulnerable, was a shock none of them were prepared for.

They followed the ambulance to the hospital, barely speaking, the weight of fear and guilt pressing down on them like a vice.

Hours passed before a doctor finally came to speak to them. They had been sitting in the waiting room in tense silence, each lost in their own thoughts, their minds running through every possible scenario.
