Kamden was always the first to arrive at the studio and the last to leave. As the leader, rapper, and main dancer of AMPERS&ONE, he took his responsibilities seriously, balancing schedules, practice sessions, and performance planning. His commitment and passion drove him, and he wanted nothing more than to see his group succeed. They had a string of performances coming up, and every day was packed with rehearsals and meetings. Kamden was in his element—until he wasn't.

The morning started like any other. He woke up, checked his phone for the day's schedule, and rushed through his usual routine. A quick shower, a cup of coffee, and out the door. He knew he should've eaten something more substantial, but with back-to-back dance practices scheduled, he convinced himself he'd grab something later. There wasn't time to sit down for a meal when there was so much to do.

The other members of AMPERS&ONE—Brian, Jiho, Siyun, Mackiah, Kyrell, and Seungmo—were all arriving at the practice room by the time Kamden got there. They greeted him with their usual playful banter, but Kamden's mind was already on their choreography. The pressure to perfect their upcoming performance was heavy on his shoulders, and he wasn't going to let anything distract him.

"Yo, Kam-hyung, you want some of this?" Mackiah called from the corner, holding up a bag of snacks. Kamden glanced at the food, his stomach rumbling slightly, but he waved it off.

"Nah, I'm good. Let's just get started," Kamden replied, adjusting the volume on the stereo.

Brian, one of the group's vocalists and the closest thing Kamden had to a best friend in the group, frowned. "You sure, man? You didn't eat breakfast, right?"

"I'm fine. Let's just focus on the routine. We've got a lot to get through," Kamden insisted, not wanting to admit that he was already feeling a little lightheaded.

The music started, and for a while, Kamden forgot about everything else. He was in his zone, moving through the choreography with the kind of precision and passion that had always set him apart. But as the minutes turned into hours, the adrenaline that had carried him through the first few rounds of practice began to fade. His limbs felt heavier, his steps less controlled, and a strange fog began to settle in his mind.

He didn't stop, though. Not when Siyun paused to catch his breath, not when Seungmo offered to take a break, and certainly not when Brian gave him another concerned look. Kamden kept pushing, willing his body to move even as his vision started to blur around the edges.

And then it happened.

They were halfway through the last run of their routine when the room seemed to tilt. The floor felt like it was slipping out from under him, and a loud ringing filled his ears. His heart raced, and for a split second, Kamden thought he could power through it—until his legs buckled.

Kamden barely registered the gasps from the other members as his knees hit the ground. His body crumpled, and everything went dark.

When Kamden came to, the first thing he noticed was the cold, damp cloth resting on his forehead. The second was the frantic murmur of voices around him.

"Kamden, hey, can you hear me?" Brian's voice was laced with panic.

Kamden blinked, his eyes struggling to adjust to the light above him. He was lying on his back, surrounded by the rest of AMPERS&ONE, all of them hovering over him with various expressions of concern.

"I'm fine," Kamden croaked, trying to sit up, but Brian's hand on his shoulder gently pushed him back down.

"Yeah, no. You're not," Jiho said, his tone leaving no room for argument.

"You collapsed, dude!" Brian exclaimed, looking more scared than Kamden had ever seen him. "You went down like a freaking tree!"

Kamden closed his eyes, mortified. He could feel the heat rising in his face—not from exertion, but from the embarrassment of having pushed himself so hard that he'd passed out in the middle of practice. "I'm sorry... I didn't mean to..."
