Hyunjae had always been the type to push through. A stomachache here, a headache there—nothing that could get in the way of his responsibilities as a member of The Boyz. He was used to the chaos of schedules, the long hours of filming, and the mental strain that came with the spotlight. Over the last few weeks, however, something had been off. The subtle pangs of discomfort he'd initially dismissed had grown into sharp, debilitating pain, and waves of nausea had become an unwelcome daily companion.

Still, Hyunjae brushed it off as stress. He couldn't afford to let it show—The Boyz had been doing so well, riding the momentum of their latest comeback. The fans were thrilled, the energy was high, and Hyunjae didn't want to risk derailing any of that. So, every time his stomach clenched painfully, he gritted his teeth and pushed through, telling himself it was temporary.

But today was different.

They were filming for a popular variety show, one that required a lot of physical activity, laughter, and energy. From the moment they arrived on set, Hyunjae felt off. His stomach churned with an intensity that made him wince, and every movement sent a fresh wave of pain coursing through him. He could feel the nausea rising, but he plastered on a smile, throwing himself into the filming with everything he had.

"Hyunjae-hyung, you okay?" Chanhee asked at one point, noticing the way Hyunjae had been rubbing his abdomen when he thought no one was looking.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Hyunjae replied with a weak smile, trying to sound convincing. "Just a little tired."

Chanhee narrowed his eyes but nodded, not wanting to push. They were all tired after the packed schedules, and he figured Hyunjae was just a little run down. Still, something about the way Hyunjae's face tightened with each step didn't sit right with him.

As the hours passed, Hyunjae's condition worsened. The pain in his stomach had become unbearable, sharp and unrelenting. Every smile he forced felt like it was draining more of his energy, and he was finding it harder and harder to keep his discomfort hidden. The nausea was intensifying, to the point where every time he opened his mouth to speak or laugh, he was terrified he'd end up throwing up instead.

Just get through it, he told himself. The fans are watching. The cameras are rolling. Don't ruin this for everyone.

But the more he tried to ignore it, the worse it got. Sweat beaded on his forehead, his skin paling as his vision blurred. His hands shook slightly as he tried to keep himself steady, but the pain was too much.

When the director called for a break, Hyunjae couldn't hold back anymore. He mumbled an excuse, something about needing a moment, and hurried off the set, clutching his stomach as he made his way to the bathroom. He barely made it before the nausea overwhelmed him, and he retched into the toilet, his entire body trembling from the effort. Each wave of sickness left him weaker, and by the time he was finished, he was slumped against the wall, breathing heavily.

The door creaked open, and Chanhee stepped in. "Hyunjae-hyung?" his voice was filled with concern.

Hyunjae's eyes widened in alarm. "Chanhee... I—"

But before he could finish, Chanhee had already closed the distance between them. His eyes darted from Hyunjae's pale face to the evidence of what had just happened, and his expression turned from worry to alarm.

"What's going on? How long has this been happening?" Chanhee asked, his voice shaking as he crouched down beside Hyunjae.

Hyunjae tried to laugh it off, but it came out as more of a grimace. "It's nothing. I've just been feeling a little off lately. Stress, probably."

"A little off?" Chanhee's eyes flashed with frustration. "Hyung, you look like you're about to collapse. Why didn't you say anything?"

"I didn't want to worry you guys. The group's doing well right now. We can't afford to slow down just because I'm having stomach problems."
