-Aiyana- Next Morning-

"That was one of the most terrifying experiences of my life" I grumble, banging my head on the table.

"Sweetheart stop that you'll get a headache" Mommy scolded, placing a plate of strawberries in front of me.

"Aleast she was sorry about it" Teddy grinned.

"Shouldn't have done it in the first place" I muttered.

As school went on I thought of multiple ways to try to keep some distance from Daddy and Mommy. Though they are severely against it, I still feel like it needs to be done.

I sat in the back of science class with Tyrell, not really paying attention ,like almost everyone in the classroom.

I just stared out the window looking as the snow fell from the sky onto the already white ground.

"This shit blows" Tyrell muttered and sneakily pulled his phone out and started showing me pictures of Ariya.

I held in my giggles at the funny faces she made.

"Tyrell! Pay attention please" Mr. Ryder yelled. Tyrell looked at him with distaste and put his phone away, "I hate this damn class" He muttered. I snickered.

"You guys wanna go eat at the dinner today" Cathy asked as we all crowded around Yomo's car. Almost everyone agreed. "Sorry guys I have to go to a bookstore" I declined.

"Aw babes you can find the book tomorrow, come eat with us" Elena whined.

"I'm not looking for a book, I have a job interview there" I smiled. Suddenly everything was quiet, they looked at me as if I was crazy. I tilted my head in confusion, " What?" I asked.

"D-Do your parents know?" Taylor asked. I shook my head.

"Aiyana why in the hell do you wanna work? You got all the money in the fucking world" Dante asked.

"Yeah but I want to gain some skills in case I want to venture out on my own one day" I smiled rocking back and forth on my feet. "It's just a little weekend night job" I reassured.

"Night?!?!" They all yelled in unison.

"Okay baby you've lost your damn mind" Scott said wrapping his arm around my shoulder.

I sighed. "Guys I'll be fine" I smiled. "We know because you're not working" Yomo said crossing his arms over his chest. I sighed and released myself from Scott's hold.

"I'll see you guys tomorrow" I said and gave them all a kiss on the cheek before turning to my car.

"Where's Yana?" Reneesme pouted. "Maybe she got stuck in traffic" Emmett shrugged.

"Not likely in this town" Rosalie huffed.

We all perked up hearing a car running and familiar humming.

"Gosh what took her so long" Reneesme pouted before running downstairs to greet her sister.

I chuckled and stopped upon seeing the images in Aiyana's mind. I frowned.

I heard the girls come into the living room. "Hi Guys" Aiyana giggled dropping her school bag. I just stared at her, she sheepishly avoided my gaze entirely and happily talked to the others.

Jasper looked between the two of us with confusion.

I hummed as I sat at my desk, reading the assignment chapters for science class.

Subtle knocks were heard at my door."Come in" I said. The door opened and I turned to see Eddie leaning on my door frame.

I froze and gave a shy smile. "Uh Hi Eddie" I said sheepishly. He sighed and walked in the room, closing the door.

"Listen it's just a little thing for me to do over the weekend" I said.

"Why all of sudden" He asked. "Daddy" I said.

Eddie sighed. "Aiyana I've known Carlisle longer than anyone in this house, There's honestly no need for you to do this. You three will be okay without you having to distance yourself" He said softly. I sighed.

"But since that night, he's been all tensed and rigid when I come near him" I frowned.

"I know it will pass and I have full faith in Daddy but maybe a little distance won't harm nobody" I smiled up at him. He sighed running a hand down his face.

"Aiyana they aren't going to like this" He said. "Which is why they're never going to find out, You weren't supposed to find out either but you know mind reader" I pouted. He rolled his eyes.

"So how are you going to explain your absence every weekend for 8 hours a night?" He asked crossing his arms.

"Mr. Tanaka and Augustus, I'll just say I'm doing special training with them" I smiled. He sighed.

"This is such a bad idea, Aiyana" He grumbled. "Well you shouldn't have been nosy" I said. "I literally cannot help that" He deadpanned. I giggled.
