-Next Morning-

I walked into my house after a long day of work. I sighed and went upstairs to my bedroom.

I opened the door and stopped in my tracks, taking in the sight of my girls.

Esme turned her head and gave a small smile. "Welcome home Honey" She greeted softly.

Slowly Aiyana stirred awake and rubbed her eye.

"Daddy? Welcome home" She greeted tiredly.

"Good morning, Loves. Did you two have fun last night?" I asked as she sat up revealing the little red and pinks marks all over her body.

"Nevermind" I chuckled.

"You seem stressed. What's wrong hm" Esme asked me.

"With this new virus spreading, the hospital is making new arrangements due to the amount of patients being admitted" I muttered.

"How fast is the virus spreading?" She asked caressing my cheek.

"Terribly fast" I sighed.

"This means you won't be home as often" Esme frowned.

"Unfortunately yes and Aiyana is not going to like that" I said.

The soft voice of the news anchor echoed throughout the kitchen as I made myself a bowl of cereal.

"As the death rates rises-"

"Yana by the time you get to eat your cereal it's going to be soggy" Sissy commented as I stabbed my cereal.

"So? I like my cereal soaked in milk" I muttered before shoving a spoon full into my mouth.

"Oh yeah Cathy called an hour ago" She suddenly said.

I blinked at her. "Why are you just now telling me, Sissy?" I asked blankly.

She shrugged, "I forgot"

"Really sissy" I sighed

"love you~" She cooed pinching my cheek.

I rolled my eyes before turning my attention back to the news anchor

"Thousands of Americans are now feeling the toll of Covid and are now taking extra precautions into their daily lives to stay safe from this virus"

'Hm this virus is getting bad. Will this be like the Spanish flu Eddie had went through' I thought to myself

"Let's hope not" I heard beside me.

I jumped at the sudden voice. "You vampires need bells around your necks" I muttered.

He chuckled "You're a vampire as well" He reminded.

"Barely" I scoffed before shoving spoon full of cereal in my mouth.

"Don't you need to call Cathy back" He said.

"Yes but first...Cereal" I said. He chuckled seeing my full cheeks.

-Nightime-

I sat in the living room at a window watching as the snow fell from the sky. I sighed wishing I had enhanced eyesight like most of my family members to see the details of all the snowflakes up close.

Seeing all this snow takes my mind back to Muffin's gift, but Ive been stuck for the past few weeks and it's annoying that I can't figure out how to do it. I sighed in annoyance

"What are you signing about ,Darlin" Jasper asked from across the room breaking his concentration on a book he was reading.

"Oh nothing that's important" I shrugged it off. Moving myself away from the window and making my way towards the couch, I plopped down with a pout.

Everybody stared at me with a raised eyebrow.

"What's wrong with you?" Emmett asked poking my cheek.

"I don't know why but I feel very irritated right now" I huffed. Mommy and Daddy were across town, Muffin had went to feed, and Augustus was at work.

"Is it your time of the mouth?" Emmett asked warily.

I thumped his head and moved off the couch before walking to my room.

I stared up at the ceiling. Think about Mommy and Daddy's gift.

'Should I or Shouldn't I'

'WHORE' A rough and scratchy voice boom through my thoughts.

I forced my eyes open and I sat up looking around the room in fear. I screamed seeing Mommy and Daddy standing in the doorway, eyes filled with worry, faces full of confusion.

"Princess what's wrong, we came home and everybody said you weren't yourself" Daddy asked worriedly, he came over to my bed and placed his hand on my forehead,seeing if I was sick.

"Why were you screaming?" Mommy asked, "Your heart is beating unbelievably fast, sweetheart" She added with worry before taking my face in her hands.

"I-um...heard his voice again" I muttered.

Their faces hardened, knowing what I was referring to.

"Which one?" Mommy asked, stroking my face lovingly, I instinctively leaned into her touch.

"Morven" I said, Daddy's body tensed and his eyes darkened significantly.

" He won't hurt you ever again, Princess" He muttered before placing a kiss in my lips. I smiled my whole mood shifted from those words.

They chuckled seeing how my mood shifted so fast.

"Why were you annoyed earlier?" Mommy asked, moving me so I was sitting on her lap.

"Oh because of Muffin's gift, I need Nakhti's guidance but I have no idea how to talk to her" I said, pouting.

"Maybe we should asked Augustus" Daddy suggested after helping Mommy and I up.

"MISTRESS I AM HERE!" Augustus dramatically announced after crashing through the front door.

We all look at him in confusion.

"I literally just sent you the text message...How did you get here so fast?" I asked holding uno cards

"When my mistress is in need I'm on go" He grinned.

"What about your job?" Jake asked

"Fuck that job" Augustus said.
