Carlisle and Esme's Imprint

Chapter 90

-Few hours later-
-Marcus-

Aiyana woke up a few hours later and we were on the bed. I laid on my side watching as she dumped the bag of russian candy on the bed.

I had miraculously gotten her to drink some animal blood and now half of her wounds were healed.

I frowned as I saw her flinch.

"Don't move around too much, Little one" I said sternly but soft. She looked down at me and nodded.

She scooted over towards me and began to try some candy and sort them from good to bad. I watch her face frown in disgust at the bad candy and watched her eyes light up when she tasted the good candy.

She hasn't talked yet, even when Carlisle and Esme called back, she didn't talk. Which was shocking.

"Don't eat too much candy, Little One" I said as she turned to me with a piece of caramel in her mouth.

"Let's go to the kitchen and get you something to eat" I exclaimed and sat up.

Her eyes widened in fear and she started to shake her head, she began to cry noiselessly and whimper.

I wrapped my arms around her and held her close to me trying to calm her down.

"Calm down, Little Love" I soothe rubbing her back. She nuzzled her nose into my neck still shaking slightly.

"Why did you react in such away when I mentioned the kitchen" I asked gently grabbing her chin making her look up at me.

She gazed at me with teary eyes.

"I-I'm scared to leave the room" She whimpered.

My heart broke in two.

I kissed her head and held her close to me.

"You don't have to be scared,Little one. Whoever hurt you will pay deeply for what they've done to you" I muttered and she held onto me tighter.

"I can call your dinner up, if you like?" I said and she nodded cuddling into me.

I kissed her head and reached for the phone.

-Few mintues later-

"Waaa" Aiyana's amazed voice as she stared into large box on the bed.

The chefs organized her a grazing box on my request.

"It's so pretty" She gushed. I chuckled at her child like behavior.

"Eat until you're full, Little One" I said softly, she turned and grinned at me.

"K" She replied adorably.  She climbed on my lap and placed the long box infront of her. She grabbed the tv remote.

I chuckled and leaned back on the headboard watching as she ate from the box.

-2 hours later-

I watched as she slowly faded in and out of her sleep. I chuckled. "Little One you have to take your bath" I cooed into her ear.

She opened her eyes at that. "Oh I forgot" She said before yawning. I called Lorraine and the doctor ,they were here within a few minutes.

I can sense their presence on the other side of the door.

"Come in" I said. Aiyana jumped as the doors began to open, clinging onto me.

"Shh Little one, it's only the doctor and Lorraine" I soothe rubbing her back. She looked seeing the two stood there with they heads down, not making eye contact. 

"I-I have the herbal mixture and cream" The Doctor stuttered out pathetically.  I gave a nod of approval.

"Good. Prepare the bath for Aiyana" I ordered and they quickly disappeared into the bathroom.

I noticed she was starting to fall asleep again. I chuckled and picked her up bridal style and headed to the bathroom.

I placed her in the chair. "Little One" I said. She jumped awake. I chuckled and patted her head.

"Let's get you undressed" I said with a small smile. She nodded and began to unbutton my shirt she was wearing. I gave the doctor and Lorraine a side glance. They bowed then left.

She shrugged off the top and I unwrapped the bandages.

I picked her up bridal style and walked to the bathub of hot water and the herbal mix and placed her in it.

She sighed softly and leaned her head back against the pillow I had set behind her head.

"Just relax and let the herbs do their job" I muttered kissing her head.

She gave me an innocent nod and closed her eyes, slowly relaxing.

I took the time to gently place her hair in an updo.

She giggled playing with the bubbles. She was too adorable for her own good.
I stared at her smiling face with a small smile of my own.

-Minutes later-

"I believe the herbal bath was effective" I said helping her out the tub with a towel wrapped around her.

It healed most of her wounds, and now she wasn't flinching hardly.

"Now lets put the cream on your bruises" I said softly, she yawned letting the towel drop from her body.

I grabbed the cream and started to apply it to her bruises. She hummed innocently as I did.

"Little One" I said still tending to her bruises.

"Hm?" She responded.

"Why were you down in Didyme's shrine room?" I asked.

She froze slightly and looked at me.

"I-I had found Mr.Panda there, you know when I told you I couldn't find him" I said.

'So someone lured her into that room' I thought to myself.

"A-Are you mad at me" She whimpered.

I brought her hand to my lips and kissed it. She giggled

"Never, Mia dolce ragazza" I stated gently.
