Chapter 45

-Next Day-
-Aiyana-

So I got suspended for three days, along with the others except for Elena. So I was enjoying my day.

I laid my head on Daddy's lap. He tenderly stroked my bruised cheek. I flinched as he ran his fingers over a very sensitive spot.

He retracted his hand back like he had touch fire.

"Is your cheek hurting, Little One" Daddy asked concerned. I nodded.

He sat me up and he sped upstairs. Then came back down with some cream.

"This will help" He smiled putting some on his fingertips and gently rubbed it onto my swollen cheek.

I purred from the cold hitting my heated cheek.

"You like that?" Daddy asked with a smile.

"Yes Daddy" I giggled.

He chuckled and kissed my forehead before going back upstairs.

The whole left side of my face was hurting, and I can talk but I can't say some letters or talk for too long.

Mommy had made me smoothies so I wouldn't strain my mouth to eat.

"Here you go sweetie" Mommy said handing me my smoothie.

"T-Tank you" I said and blushed as she smiled at me.

Mommy caressed my cheek gently as I drank my smoothie.

"You still can't pronounce some letters right" Mommy asked.

Daddy came and sat beside me on the couch, he wrapped his arm around my shoulder. I cuddled into his side.

Suddenly Alice stopped talking, looking dazed.

We looked at her. Jazzy went to her side in worry.

"What is it?" He asked as she came out her vision.

"Marcus, Felix, and Alec are on their way here now" Alcie said worriedly.

'Muffin?' I questioned in my head, tilting my head while drinking my smoothie.

"Why are they coming?!" Rosie wondered.

"It shouldn't be important, since Aro and Cauis aren't with them" Daddy said.

Everyone look conflicted. "I suppose you're right" Alice said.

The atmosphere in the room was tense. Everyone was on edge. I sighed.

I perked up as the door bell rung. Daddy got up and opened the door.

-Marcus-

The door opened to reveal the patriarch of the Cullen Clan. "Hello Marcus, Felix, Alec" He greeted us. He invited us inside.

Carlisle and I have an honest friendship, since he is the mate to my sweet girl.

"My deepest apologies for dropping in without a call, but I sense something was wrong with Aiyana" I explained why I was here.

"Muffin?" I heard a little voice from behind Carlisle.

I looked over to see Ayiana looking adorable as ever in her oversized sweater and thigh high socks.

I smiled seeing her, went over and picked her up, she smiled and wrapped her arms around my neck.

I noticed the left side of her face was badly bruised and slightly swollen.

"I missed you" She said with a blush. "I missed you too mia dolce ragazza" I said nuzzling her body close to me.

"I knew something was wrong, What happened?" I asked gently caressing her cheek.

Her cheek heated up as she blushed.

"A boy punched her cheek, while she was beating him up with a broom" Carlisle explained for her, since she couldn't excatly talk for too long.

Alec and Felix snickered from behind me. I too was amused.

"Why was she hitting him with a broom?" I asked as we made our way into the living room. They tensed at the sight of me

"He was about to rape an autistic freshman" Esme explained.

I nodded. Aiyana kissed my cheek and snuggled into me. I slightly smiled.

"Do I need to kill him?" I asked. She shook her head. I chuckled.

-Few hours later-
-Marcus-

Aiyana fell asleep on me an hour ago, after she was telling me about all her of friends and showing me pictures.

I kissed her head while rubbing her back.

"She's not going to let you go" Renesmee informed me with a smile. "It's fine" I said as Aiyana shifted slightly.

I noticed the blonde hair girl looking at Aiyana and I.

I never really cared to know her name.

I felt uneasy with her being around Aiyana .

"Why are you staring" I asked with a hardness in my voice. She flinched at being caught.

"Why are you and Aiyana so close" She asked. I noticed how she sneered Aiyana's name. That does not sit well with me.

I glanced at Carlisle, who sighed.

"I believe our relationship isn't any of your concern human" I said sneered.

She flinched at my tone, gave me a weak glare and stood up.

Alec and Felix stood up glaring down at her. She sat back down.

"Marcus could you wake up Aiyana for me, Dinner is ready" Esme asked kindly.

I nodded and gently shook the sleeping girl. She stirred and open her eyes weakly.

"Muffin" She groaned, before sitting up. I chuckled.

"You need to eat, little one" I said caressing her cheek.

"Can you eat wiff me" She slurred out. I chuckled.

"Little One, I can't eat human food remember" I remind her. She nuzzled her face in my neck.

Carlisle chuckled in amusement as she did not let me go. I stood up with her in my arms.

"I'll sit with you while you eat" I muttered placing a soft kiss on her temple. She smiled tiredly. I made my way to the kitchen.

She had me wrapped around her finger.
