Chapter 61

As I'm walking into algebra I totally forget that out packets were due yesterday.
I run inside and sit next to Niall.

"Niall hey I'm so sorry about the packet Lindsey..." Niall interrupts me

"Woah calm down Kat told me everything and I finished the packet." Says Niall and smiles

"But it was so big" I respond and Niall laughs

"Nah it's nothing I couldn't handle"

"Wow. Well thank you so much I definitely owe you one."

"Yah you could do my homework for a week"

"Uh- " I pause 

"I'm just kidding Ali" says Niall

I smile and look down.

"Your eye looks good. Kat said Lindsey hit you pretty hard" says Niall as he brushes his hand over my eye

I blush
"Yeah my mom gave me some great cream" I lie

"Really? At least it will be better by homecoming"

"Yeah at least" I agree

"So about homecoming are you-" Niall says but gets interrupted by the teacher

"Alright class exciting news" says mr. George and I look at Niall and shrug my shoulders apologetic.
I really hope he wasn't just about to ask me to the dance. I couldn't. I need to make sure I'm set with calling Lizzie, Mia, and Trevor my friends.
I shake the thought from my mind and focus on the teacher

"Today we will be starting the first chapter of the school year, everyone get excited and take out their notebooks"

I take out my notebook, and organize my notes perfectly then get assigned my first homework assignment for algebra. Is it weird that I'm excited?
When the period is over I hug Niall and say "thanks for being a good friend" and walk off to history as fast as I can without being to obvious about it.

Since my third hour is all the way across the school I'm always running and end up being the last one there.
When I walk in Mia runs up to me

"Thank god your here" she says relieved
"See Mr. Glay I told you she'd be here so go on and add her to our group" says Mia with a bossy tone. I would never dream of talking to a teacher like that.
Mr. Glay shakes his head obviously annoyed with Mia and walks away.

"Oh my god Ali we almost got paired up with that loser" says Mia loud enough for the poor girl to here. The girl looks down in sadness

"Mia don't be rude" I snap

"What she is" she whispers and I roll my eyes

"Ok so why are we getting in groups?" I ask changing the subject

"We are doing some project on whatever topic he gives us" she responds looking at her nails.

Well that cleared up nothing I think to myself

"We have to do an essay, power point, and some sort of visual aid" says Trevor

"Ugh that sucks" I complain and mentally thank Trevor for informing me on the project.
Mr. Glay explains the project for the entire hour and finally the dismissal bell rings. I say goodbye to Mia and Trevor and head off to AP English.
I wonder which of the million personalities of Harry he's going to portray in English today? Especially after we kissed. We never got any time to be awkward about it since I was in such a rush this morning. Maybe it won't be awkward? I hope.
I turn the corner in mid thought and Eli jumps out and scares me to death. I scream loud in fright like a scared little girl and look at him with tears forming into my eyes as I walk into the classroom humiliated. The whole class is staring at me like a freak and Harry immediately sees me and walks over to me

"Was that you screaming in the hall?" He asks concerned

"Um- ya Eli" I stutter and release a tear. Harry whips my tear away, clenches his fists, and storms out of the classroom.
I peak out of the classroom door and see Harry yelling at Eli. I smile to myself and push my hair behind my ears. When the bell rings I sit down and Harry sits on my left then Louis to my right. I smile at both them as they sit down.

"Alright class" says mrs. Blayne
"Take a good look around you because what you see, your gonna be seeing for the rest of the semester" she says and people look around. I see the Harry stalkers whispering from across the room and glaring at me.
"These are your assigned seats if you haven't got that already"

"Ohh" says the not so smart portion of the class.

"Today we will be individually reading so everyone take out your books and let's begin, and just to be clear that means no talking"
Rambles mrs. Blayne and I look over at Harry and smile. He smiles back. I decide not to bring up feelings and just let things go with the flow for the week like we planned.
I can't focus on reading so for the whole class I decide to doze off and day dream. I'm already ahead anyways.

Finally the bell rings and I'm more than happy to go to lunch...

Lunch goes as expected and I eat salad and talk about everyday problems and of course homecoming. I'm not a fan of homecoming but I'm gonna go so my mom thinks I'm normal when really In fact I'm living with a British senior boy.
Although at lunch I do receive a text from Eli apologizing for scaring me and I'm sure Harry made him do it but still for Eli that's a lot.
When I get to physics the whole class period is composed of taking notes on the three states of matter. It's horribly boring but I pay attention for the best.
