Like you all know, I've neglected this story for months on end because life has just gotten in the way. I started this story years ago when I was just a kid and I've progressed so much as a writer it just doesn't feel like me anymore. I know this story has so much potential, but I hate the way it's written. I could do so much better for you guys now a days. So I think I've come to the conclusion to take this book down, in a week or two, maybe longer.
However, only to start it up back again, with changes but the exact same storyline that you guys love. Most of the same scenes will be included as well. But whats going to change is a name or two, and a potential face credit change of Trevor. Everything about Harry and Alison will remain the same, along with many other characters. I might end up changing Trevor's name and face credit from Zac Efron as it doesn't seem fitting to me anymore. And maybe Kendall as well.
They are also going to be in college, and I think you'll like it much better this way. And since Alison is an adult, it makes sense for her to be able to stay with Harry as long as she does. Harry will be a sophomore at college along with Eli, and Alison will be a freshmen.
The chapters of the new book will come fast, as it's mostly written already, but I intend to write out the first ten chapters before publishing the new Devotion. I'll make sure to leave this book open for a little bit while I see how everything goes.
I'm really excited guys. This is such a special story to me and I can't wait to bring it to life for you guys again. I promise, you'll love it even more than this one, and it will actually be completed. I'll post an update part two with name changes and other new information to get you guys ready, but I just really wanted to get this message out now.
Thank you guys, and if you're still here, I'm so sorry for leaving you hanging. You all mean the world to me.
I'm going to work my ass off to get these chapters out so that I can finish this book!!!!
