Chapter 45

Yosen and Shutoku arrived together with Ogiwara, earning surprised looks from the other teams.
"Isn't it Tetsu-kun's childhood friend?"
Momoi pointed at the brown haired male. Aomine frowned a bit, feeling a pang of jealousy.

Everyone shared the same surprised looks when they saw the starting line-up of Seirin. Tyelko stands as their center with Ogiwara as the point guard.
Hyuuga is still the shooting guard and Kagami is still the power forward, with Kuroko beside him.
Izuki blew a whistle. "So I will be the referee for today! It's a good thing I know sign language. They usually come in handy. Kita kore!"
"Izuki shut up!" Hyuuga yelled at him irritatingly.
"What's this? A joke?" Aomine asked irritatingly.
"I understand that Ogiwara-kun plays basketball but Tetsu-kun's cousin doesn't, does he?"
"Oh look Sei-chan! The other phantom cutie is going to play!"
"Unlike Kuroko, the guy is tall enough and got muscles." Nebuya chided.
"But can he play?" Kotaro asked curiously. Even Mayuzumi looks curious to see another phantom play the game.
"He just learned how to play days ago." Yoon popped up beside Kotaro and the Rakuzan boys sans Mayuzumi, jumped from their seats. Yoon gave them a blank look as they settle down.
"Days? Will he be alright? They will be facing Midorima." Kotaro asked. Akashi remained stoic but there is an interesting look in his eyes.
"Snacks?" Yoon handed him a basket full of cinnamon bread.
"Don't worry Majestic Lobster, I did not put any poison in there. I won't try to kill you, we still have a game to finish."
Akashi glared at him.
"Nakbin made those." Akashi sighed deeply but didn't even mutter a thank you after taking one bread. His wounded ego still needs recovering. Yoon don't care less. They share the same pride after all.

"Oh! You have the same presence as Tet-chan over here, are you one of his cousins?" Takao asked the boy in front of Kobori. Tyelko nodded in reply.
"Woah! You have pretty eyes, they look innocent just like a baby." Tyelko flinched, feeling awkward with Takao's closeness although he didn't show it.
"Oi freaky eyed partner of Miracle, back off. Let's just start the game." Kagami shove him lightly away from Tetsuya's cousin.
"Hai hai! Let's have a good game!" Takao said with pure enthusiasm. Midorima pushed his glasses and although he didn't say anything, he gave a quick glance at Tyelko. He abruptly looked away when the latter met his eyes.

The tip off started. Shutoku has the ball first. However, the ball was stolen by Ogiwara who passed it to Tetsuya and scored a phantom shot. Takao had the ball next and launched it towards Midorima, using their sky direct three point shot. The game continues and everyone seems to be enjoying the game. Everyone are amazed with Kagami's dunks, Kuroko's passes and their triple team play with Ogiwara, the different technique of light and shadow of Shutoku and the strength of three other players of Shutoku. The amazing shots made by both Hyuuga and Midorima are highly praised by Nakbin.
"Did you just see that Kasamatsu-sempai?!" Kise shouted from the bleachers, his seniors gaped at the scene.
Everyone were shocked when they saw Tyelko blocked Midorima's shot. Takao looked astonished at the dragon-eyed boy who remained stoic.
"Eh?! He's fast! Since when was he there?!" Miyaji exclaimed in surprise.
"Impossible. I can see him just like Kuroko but..." Takao's eyes widened in realization. His eyes.
"No way...don't tell me, he has the same ability as Izuki-san and Takao-kun."
"You're quite right, self-proclaimed bride of Tetsuya."
Aomine jumped in fright as he saw Yoon beside him holding a basket.
"Quite right?" Imayoshi asked him curiously.
Yoon passes on the basket to them and took a sit beside Aomine for a while.
"Riko-san told us that the eagle eye and hawk eye can see the court in a different perspective with the hawk eye having a wider range. However Tyelko's golden eyes go beyond that."
Aomine narrowed his eyes then looked back at the said boy. "So you mean..."
"Those eyes aren't just for decoration."
Yoon sternly said as he stood up and pass the basket to the other teams.
"The guy is pretty strong too. Did you see how he blocked the ball? I don't know if I can keep up with that..." Susa muttered.
"Nakbin told me that Tyelko excels at swordsmanship which probably explains the strength that he has and his quick reflexes as well." Momoi said, while clutching her clipboard.
Aomine can't stop but look at the said boy with new respect. Maybe he should really break his habit underestimating people.

"Ne Yoonchii, you just told Aominechii that Tyelkochii's pretty eyes have the same ability as Takaochii and Izuki-san, just how far can he see and what do you call his eyes?"
"Baka. It is obvious that he has dragon eyes. If you're asking for distance, he can see this entire place, not just the court itself and don't call me that!"
"Eh?! That wide?!"
"And a little bit beyond this gym although it already becomes blurry according to him."
"Eh?! That's impossible!" The people listening to their conversation share the same astonished looks as Kise.
"It actually comes in handy whenever Nakbin disappears again and gets herself into trouble." Yoon muttered as he walked away.
