"Looks like that girl has just angered Akashi." Imayoshi smirked. "First Hanamiya then Akashi, unbelievable. That girl has guts challenging the most feared captains."
Aomine scowled. This isn't good. The other Akashi is back.
Nakbin glanced at the red head captain worriedly. She didn't mean to offend him in any way.
"Are you okay?" Yoon asked his light, noticing her worried look.
"Yes, I think."
Yoon gave Akashi a serious look from behind.
"Defeat him."
"What?"
"Beat him in today's game then request him to talk to you."
"How can I even do that?"
Yoon shrugged his shoulders. "During our game, I came to know him a little. That person doesn't like defeat at all, you just threatened him with your steals. If he wins today, his pride will prevent him from talking to you. You have to earn his respect."
Nakbin took a deep breath and slapped her cheeks, causing them to turn red.
"Alright! Let's do this!"When Mibuchi had the ball, Nakbin made a graceful spin towards his direction and stealthily grabbed the ball from his hands, passing it to her brother who in turn passed to Kagami who dunked the ball.
"Did she just dance?" Takao asked laughingly.
"You never told me you can dance Nakbin-chan." Mibuchi gave her a playful smile.
"Will you dance with me then?"
"Reo." Akashi interrupted the two giving his vice captain a warning tone. He gave Nakbin a cold stare, causing her to bit her lip.Akashi dribbled the ball again with Yoon marking him. Nakbin made an ethereal motion, stole the ball again and passed it to Teppei who dunked the ball.
Akashi growled audibly. "Stay out of my way."
"I just want you to talk to me Seijuro-sama."
"You should know better than to disobey me."
"I'm so sorry but I can't possibly comply with your request. I know you were mad at me, I didn't mean to offend you in any way. I really apologize for that. I just want you to talk to me."
Akashi looked at her in a condescending manner. "I want you to know that it's an order not a request. And we have nothing to talk about. My orders are absolute."Akashi went past her causing her to fall in Yoon's arms.
"Teme!" Kagami angrily exclaimed. Kuroko clenched his fists, probably restraining himself from confronting his former captain. Mayuzumi eyed his captain anxiously.Nakbin fixed herself and stood proudly. "I also want you to know that I do not take orders from anyone."
Akashi stopped on his tracks and turned around, showing his murderous aura.
"I am not just anyone, I'm an Akashi."
"And I am the Phantom Queen!" Nakbin retorted. The game continues. The players from both parties grew more anxious as the environment between the phantom queen and red emperor grew more tense than usual.
Akashi jumped high while Mayuzumi passed him the ball to do their alley hoop. Nakbin appeared in front of him and blocked the ball. The buzzer beater sounds and the game ends in a tie.
As expected Akashi ignored the girl as they were getting ready for line-up.
Nakbin feels agitated. She clenched her fists tight, the tips of her ears turned red as her lips. She picks up the ball and hit Akashi on the back of his head hard, causing the latter to fall face flat on the floor. Oh mighty fall. His teammates gasped in horror and panicked. Kagami snickered, covering his mouth to prevent himself from laughing. Kuroko elbowed him but remained total deadpan.
"Fine! Don't talk to me and see if I care, Mr. Absolute!"
They heard Nakbin's soft sobs as she ran to the bathroom.
