Chapter 91

Mayuzumi decided to take the girl to his favorite manga store where he also finds his favorite light novels.
"Woah..." Nakbin brimmed at sight. Mayuzumi smiled, at least her mood is improving.
"We don't have these enough light novels at home and every time Aniue would catch me reading something that he disapproves he would snatch it right away!" Nakbin complained. Mayuzumi scoffed. What the hell does Kuroko want his sister to read all the time? History books?
"Well, why don't we buy some? I'll show you some of the best that I know."
"Really?"
"Why not? It will be our little secret."
"Chihiro-sama!" Nakbin hugged him all of a sudden leaving the gray head bewildered. Suddenly his inner self laughed maniacally. Kuroko will definitely get angry once he saw those novels and man how he wanted to tease the shorter shadow, plus his sister is now praising him like saint. Beat that Kuroko Tetsuya, that's for last year's winter cup. And yes Mayuzumi Chihiro is not fully over it yet.
Mayuzumi insisted on carrying the bulk and convinced the girl to follow him.
"Where are we going Chihiro-sama?"
"Anywhere."
Mayuzumi and Nakbin took a train and got off to a place not even Mayuzumi is familiar with, which happens to be his habit just to wander off.
"Where are we Chihiro-sama?"
"I don't know as well." He deadpanned.
"Eh?!"
"Don't worry, we'll find a way back to Tokyo."
"Uh...okay."
They both entered a mall and left their bags.
They went to check on many shops and tried on different milkshakes. Nakbin is so happy to meet Chihiro at Maji's. If only she can spend times like this with her brother but he is always busy nowadays.
They sat on a food stall where Mayuzumi treated her with yakisoba and takoyaki. Nakbin finds him very comforting and very similar with her Aniue except for the gray-head's sarcasm which she finds amusing all the time.
After buying some food and sweets, they took the next train and again taking them somewhere else, this time to an ancient temple. Old people often mistook them as lovers or newly weds which they deny right away.

It was past 1 in the afternoon when they took another train which brought them to an amusement park. Nakbin brought him to a shooting stall where she won a teddy bear for herself. They also tried on some food stalls. They also entered a horror house but they ended up scaring the people and staff instead. Chihiro admitted that he likes scaring the shit out of people. Nakbin enjoyed it as well and just discovered a new amusement which she can't wait to try once they get back.
They also tried many rides and it is always amusing how people failed to notice them at the first place. Once they do, they would disappear again courtesy of Mayuzumi. Who knows what they will do once they notice Nakbin? And that will put him into a lot of trouble. They took the Ferris wheel last where Nakbin finally opened up and told him everything. It was not really a surprise that those boys harbor feelings for her but what pisses him off is the way they show it. It irritates him and makes him grit his teeth. After spending the day with her, Mayuzumi realized that he cares for the girl as he never had a sister or a younger sibling.
Without thinking, Mayuzumi hugged the poor girl.
"Chihiro-sama?"
"Chihiro-nii."
"What? But I can't possibly-"
"Onii-sama then."
"Eh?"
"You are more like a sister to me now. Don't you want me to be your brother as well?"
"That's not it!"
Mayuzumi patted her head.
"You have to tell your brother sooner. I know he will understand but I can't promise he won't punch their faces."
"Why would he do that?"
Mayuzumi ignored her question and smiled at the girl gently.
"If you find yourself confused you can get some ideas from the light novels that I bought you." Mayuzumi said as he kissed her forehead.
Nakbin smiled widely. "Hai! Onii-sama!"
Such best advice from the ever deadpan Mayuzumi Chihiro.
