Chapter 69

The day of the basketball tournament is coming fast.
"Ssu can't we just stay with our own teams?" Kise asked.
"That would be okay but it will be better if we go into different teams. It will be interesting for sure..." Imayoshi replied with another creepy smile of his.
"How are we going to do it? Draw lots again?" Aomine asked back.
Yoon groaned. He doesn't like draw lots at all. He always ended up with the worst luck.

"I think I have an idea. Will you hear me out, please?"
"Of course my queen!"
Yoon hit Moriyama on the face again. "Nakbin is not your queen!"
"Its alright my princess, I will never replace-"
Fwing!-pang!
"I am not your princess either!"

"What do you suggest, my empress?" Akashi asked her causing the others to spit their drinks, others have their jaws hung open. Murasakibara stopped from eating his chips then continued again.
"Eh?" Nakbin blushed slightly. She just lost a bet against him but she didn't expect him to use it sooner. It feels strange being called like that.
"We're not having a cosplay anymore Seijuro! Stop calling her your empress!"
"My empress just lost to our shogi game this morning."
"NAKBIN!!!"
"Sei asked me to play a game with him because he was bored."
Yoon fumed in anger, "Seijuro teme..."

Kuroko arrived while talking with Ogiwara while Aomine and Kagami are bickering from behind, Yoon and Akashi's argument forgotten.

"Minna-san." Kuroko acknowledged.
"Aniue." Nakbin curtsied then kissed her brother on the cheek. Kuroko smiled and patted her head gently.
"I wish Nakbinchii is my sister too..." Kise pouted.
"Nakbin, I miss you!" Ogiwara tackled the girl and lifted her. Musical laughter echoed the entire gym. Kagami and Akashi irked. Kuroko smiled softly, Ogiwara used to do that ever since they were little.
"Ooohh...looks like Sei-chan has another rival." Mibuchi whispered to his teammates. Kotaro scoffed and crossed his arms, he seemed to be jealous as well.
"Hmph!" Midorima pushed up his glasses, a glint of annoyance visible in his eyes.
"Don't tell me you're jealous, Shin-chan?" Takao asked teasingly.
"I'm not!"
"Hehe..."

Another group of basketball players arrived.
"Oh hi! It's you! Pretty girl with fluffy hair!" Tsugawa ran towards Nakbin when Kuroko and Yoon blocked his way. Kasuga pulled Tsugawa by his collar as the younger teen struggled from his grasp.
"Let go of me sempai! I wasn't able to introduce myself to her yet!"
"There's no need for that." Yoon chided.
Tsugawa blinked at Yoon then gave Tetsuya a deadly glare.
"Why are you always surrounded by pretty girls? What's your secret?"
"I am a handsome boy!" Yoon yelled.
"Eh?"

The Kirisaki Daiichi players arrived as well causing another ruckus inside.
"What are you doing here, Hanamiya?!" Hyuuga asked angrily.
"We will be participating in the tournament as well and we heard about your secret little meeting. Are we not allowed to come as well? We are just basketball players after all." He answered dramatically. Hyuuga gritted his teeth in annoyance.
"You are not just basketball players. You and your dirty play."
"Oh! You wound me four-eyes. Well, I have a promise to keep with my evil queen..." Hanamiya sneered, crouching slightly at Nakbin.
Yoon pushed his face harshly. "You're too close! And stop calling her your evil queen!"
Hara draped his arm over his shoulder lazily whilst blowing another gum. "I can also call you my evil queen if you want..."
Yoon shrugged off his arm. "Don't touch me! And as if I need that!"

Minutes later, Alex arrived with two more companions. She rushed towards Yoon locking her lips with his.
"Alex!" Both Kagami and Himuro yelled, they were too late to save the poor boy.
"Eh?!!!" Several yells followed. The phantoms remained impassive, while Hanamiya and Akashi both looked disinterested.
The generation of miracles widened their eyes in surprise when they spotted a familiar person behind Alex.
"Sempai?" Kuroko asked softly. All attention turned to the certain dark haired.
"Nijimura-san." Akashi acknowledged his former captain.
"It's nice seeing you all grown up." The former Teiko captain told them with a smile.
"That aside, what is that guy doing here?!" Aomine asked angrily, pointing at Nijimura's gray-haired companion.
"That's right! What is he doing here?!" Kise wailed.
"Ouch. Am I not welcome, Daiki, Ryota? Didn't you miss me?" Haizaki sneered. Aomine and Kise hissed in reply.
Hanamiya and his teammates immediately recognized Haizaki. He was the guy from the other day, trying to get his hands in Nakbin. She also gasped, covering her mouth right away.
"Oh! Isn't it the pretty girl from the other day?"
The uncrowned general moved in front of her and put her in a protective stance. Akashi, Kagami, Ogiwara and Kuroko blocked Haizaki, stopping him. Haizaki was taken aback by their actions, then let out a chuckle. Aomine and Kise narrowed their eyes. Midorima remained the same but there is an evil glint behind his glasses. Murasakibara feels like crushing their former teammate. Hyuuga seemed to be getting into clutch mode again.
"Pretty miss has so many guardians, I see. I knew your little act with that uncrowned King wasn't real."
Hanamiya gritted his teeth. Nakbin remained stoic, unaffected by his words.
Haizaki stepped forward when Kuroko stopped him.
"Stay away from my sister."
The former fifth man if Teiko widened his eyes slightly at the phantom sixth man then looked back at the said girl.
"You didn't tell me you have a beautiful sister, Tetsuya. Mah, that seems possible too. You have a pretty face after all." The teal head twitched in annoyance. Haizaki just questioned his masculinity. Kagami and Aomine scowled at the implied insult.
Nakbin let out a deep sigh. She shove herself in front and faced Haizaki.
"I'm sorry if we actually lied to you. But don't get me wrong, Mako-chan is important to me as well as everyone else. My name is Nakbin, sister of Kuroko Tetsuya, also known as the phantom sixth man here and the shadow prince in our home." Everyone looks shocked in the revelation. Shadow prince? "And also he has received a lot of engagement proposals from princesses and elite women far and wide although he rejected them all."
"What?!" Everyone else shouted. Kuroko remained impassive although he feels quite embarrassed deep inside. He never told anyone about it.
"So please don't question my brother's masculinity." Nakbin added.
"Oi Tetsu! What was that all about?"
"Something you are not supposed to know, Aomine-kun and imoto chan please do not reveal information about me without my approval."
Nakbin curtsied at her brother. She looks defiant rather than guilty. Haizaki and Nijimua arched their brows.
"Please forgive me Aniue but that was the only thing that came to my mind to support my statement. I don't like losing in such argument."
"You don't have to bring that up-"
All of a sudden a pink haired girl tackled the teal head to the ground, suffocating him.
"I knew you won't replace me, Tetsu-kun!!!"
"Momoi-san c-can't breathe..."
Kuroko gasped for air when Momoi released him from a bone crushing hug.
Nakbin turned her attention back to Haizaki. "Our first meeting wasn't that pleasant. Let us start anew. I just told you my name, what is yours young lord?"
"Haizaki. Haizaki Shougo." He bent slightly and planted a kiss on her hand, causing another indignant yells from behind. Nijimura felt his vein throbbing and kicked his kouhai at the back.
"I'm very sorry about his behavior. I'm Nijimura Shuzo."
"What an honor to meet you Shuzo-sama although I have heard some things about you, from being a strict father and caring mother to the generation of miracles, my brother included especially during their puberty years."
The generation of miracles paled when their former captain scowled darkly at them. Haizaki rolled down in laughter then received another smack from Nijimura.
Nijimura cracked his knuckles. Aomine and Kise gulped in fear. Akashi, Murasakibara and Midorima stepped back slightly. Kuroko blanched but remained under Momoi's protective arms.
Hyuuga and the other captains found a new respect on the Teiko's former captain. He seemed to be the only one capable of handling them together, even the fearsome captain of Rakuzan.
Their attention were stolen when Nakbin spoke up.
"There is also one thing I want to tell you, Shougo-sama."
"What? Did you finally decide to go out with me?"
"Actually I have been outside already to buy my milkshake so I don't think I still need to go outside."
"Hah?"
"Ano, sumimasen. I don't think that's what he means Nakbin-sama." Sakurai
told her apologetically.
"Huh? Anyway, let me just say...your hairstyle suits you better now. The one you have the previous day was very ugly."
"Huh?" Haizaki irked at the remark.
"Nakbin-chan!" Momoi interrupted, clinging her arm with hers.
