You quickly sneaked your way into the Mercedes paddock after Lewis' car rolled out to do some testing. You had flown over to Belgium to surprise him after free practice. You thanked his crew for helping you hide from Lewis very well until now. You quickly took a seat on one of the chairs once Lewis was completely out of sight, silently watching your boyfriend race along the circuit.

"He's doing great, I'm sure tomorrow will be a good day for us," one of his engineers said, making you smile and nod in agreement, "I'm sure he will."

"Especially since you're here now. He'll feel the need to perform even better," he winked at you and left again to go over some data. You smiled as you got the sign that Lewis would be back soon, which you took as your cue to walk towards his motorhome, where you would surprise him. You hoped that he suspected nothing, but Lewis was a smart man, so you didn't know if he would buy your excuses. You had told him that you would be going on a short city trip with your mom and that you were not sure if there would be WIFI available. It was so hard not check your text messages and social media accounts. You wanted Lewis to think that you really had no WIFI, after all. But so far, you had managed to enjoy yourself without your phone as well.

You waited in his motorhome for what felt like ages. Your head snapped up as you heard voices coming from the hallway. "Alright, thanks mate," you heard an all too familiar voice say before the door was opened. Your heart pounded into your chest and you stood up, ready to greet your boyfriend. Lewis walked into the room and shrieked as he saw another form in his room. "Motherfucking christ-" he said, but cut himself off as he noticed it was only you. "(y/n), you scared me," he breathed out, clutching his hand over his chest. You giggled and made your way over to him.

"I didn't mean to scare you, but I certainly did like that lame sound you made, tough guy," you said and softly punched his shoulder. Lewis shook his head and wrapped his arms around your waist, bringing you close to him and finally pressing his lips to yours after what felt like ages. You smiled into the kiss and wrapped your arms around his neck. In need for air, you pulled away from the kiss and leaned your forehead against his, sighing happily. Lewis stroked a few strands of hair out of your face, "I missed you so much, baby girl."

"hmm, I missed you too, Lew," you smiled up at him, pecking his lips.

"What do you say, babe. Let's get the hell out of here, shall we?" Lewis winked at you, making you shake your head but nod eagerly nonetheless.
