"I cannot believe they sent us the wrong location!" Sebastian shouted angrily, stepping out of the car, "now we are stuck in the middle of a god damn desert without anything to eat. Great, just great." You rolled your eyes at his angry behaviour and placed a comforting hand on his upper arm, "It will be just fine, Seb. You told me yourself that help is on its way. It's going to be alright. At least we have something to drink."

"That is not enough water for the both of us. You stay in the car and I'll be right back. I'll go and do some exploring. See if there is something useful out here," he said, ready to walk away. You stopped him in his tracks and raised an eyebrow at him.

"You're not going out there alone. God knows what you will walk into. I am either coming with you, or we'll both stay here, your choice," you said, crossing your arms over your chest. "Fine, let's just stay here then," Sebastian said, already regretting this decision as he was already struggling to keep himself from drinking your blood. You couldn't know about him. He was sure that you would get scared and never wanted to see him again, which he would completely understand.

A few hours later, it was already dark and Sebastian struggled with himself more than ever, which did not go unnoticed by you. He could feel your stare on him but decided not to look up. While you were studying him, you couldn't help but notice him looking more pale than usual and it honestly worried you a lot.

"Seb," you said to get his attention. All you got in return was a hum to indicate that he was listening to you. "Are you okay? You look rather pale... if you want more water, it's totally okay with me, you know. I'm sure I'll be able to survive this day without."

"(y/n), you have no idea how much I am trying to stop myself from doing what I would love to do the most right now," he said and looked up to finally meet your eyes again after what felt like hours. There was something in his eyes you couldn't quite place. He looked at you like he was hungry - for you.

"So, what do you really want to do then? Maybe talking about it will make it less bad," you suggested, trying to shrug off the weird feeling you had in your chest. You weren't afraid of him, yet something about him currently made you feel very wary.

"I can't tell you, (y/n). You would be disgusted with me," he told you, a frown showing on his face. And with that, he got out of the car and was ready to make his way god knows where. But you weren't about to let that happen. You wanted the truth and you wanted it now.

"Sebastian Vettel! Get your ass back in the car right now or you will face the consequences once we get back at work!" you yelled at him, trying to sound threatening even though you knew that you did not.

"Leave me alone! You've been making me go crazy this whole day already with that delicious smell of yours!" he yelled back at you.

"What do you mean, smell? I am not wearing perfume or anything... you know what, I really think you actually are going crazy, yes," you said as you crossed your arms over your chest.

"Look, forget what I said, okay? Now please leave me alone because I really cannot hold myself together anymore."

"No," was your simple reply, "not until you tell me what on earth is wrong with you."

Within a second he stood right in front of you, making you blink in surprise. How did he get there so fast from where he was stood before? He looked you up and down, licking his lips, before his gaze fell at your eyes.

"You really want to know what on earth is wrong with me? Fine. I will tell you. Just don't come crying to me that I am a monster once you figure it out," he said almost coldly. You had no idea what to expect so you just shrugged your shoulders and urged him to tell you. "You want to know what is wrong with me? I am obsessed with your blood. The way it smells and the way your heart beats makes me go insane because I have to stop myself from tasting it every single stupid day, and all because I don't want to scare you away and lose you."

"You are obsessed with my blood? What the fuck?! Why?"

"Because I am a vampire, woman! There - I said it. Laugh at me all you want, but this is who I am now and I cannot do anything to change it," Seb said, looking very sad at the moment. You nearly wanted to laugh. Nearly. Until everything fell together and you had a feeling that this time, he really wasn't joking around.

"So... the legends are true, huh?" you said lightly - almost too lightly.

"Please, (y/n). Just let me go out there to look for something to eat. I-I'm starving."

"You really think you would actually find something to eat in the desert? At night? Not a chance, my friend," you said.

"I don't think you quite understand how all of this works, my friend," he mocked you, "if I don't find anything to feed me, I will die."

"Excuse me?! I didn't know it was that bad..." you trailed off, honestly shocked by his answer.

"Well it is. I'll be back before you know it, yeah?" he said as he went to walk past you, only to be stopped by you wrapping your hand around his wrist.

"I meant what I said, Seb. There is no life out here. But..." you nervously trailed off. You couldn't even believe yourself for the suggestion you were about to make, "I am prepared to give you my blood if it means that you'll survive."

"You are insane."

"I know, but I don't want you to die," you said, placing a hand on his shoulder, "besides, from all the TV shows I have watched, I assume that it is not that bad after all..."

"You really don't take no for an answer, do you?" he asked grinning slightly, to which you shook your head and got your hair out of the way.

"I won't die if you bite me, right?" you suddenly asked, starting to panic, but he quickly shook his head to make you feel better about this whole situation. "Alright, then go for it." As soon as those words escaped your mouth, his mouth was on your neck instantly, pressing a few soothing kisses on your delicate skin, before his teeth sunk into your skin, making you moan at the feeling. You would have never expected it to feel this good. Soon, he pulled away from your neck, licking his lips and steadying your waist. You suddenly felt a little dizzy from the loss of blood, but you didn't mind, as you hadn't felt this good in a long time.

"You are one crazy human being, (y/n), but thank you very much for saving me from starving to death," he smiled at you, helping you step into the car once again.

"Anything for you, Seb," you mumbled sleepily, curling up with his body. "And I really mean that. I love you." You had not meant for that to slip out, but you couldn't help it. It was like he had bewitched you. The fact that this had finally made you realize your strong feelings towards him. You soon drifted off to sleep. Too soon to actually hear him say those words back. Those words you wanted to hear so bad, "I love you too, (y/n)."
