So I didn't want to end my day with me thinking everything through and leaving you guys thinking he's a complete jerk. He was put in a tight position (for reasons I will not name) and it looked like he lost a friend because of me.

Honestly though he should've never acted out towards me/my friends like that. Do I forgive him? Yes I forgive him because that's the only way I won't stay up at night thinking about it.

But that doesn't mean I won't avoid him. He has a toxic nature that I should've seen coming since day 1. I'm glad my friend noticed it immediately once I told her everything, and saying the full story got me to realize that his toxic nature was eventually going to hit me.

Oh god this catholic school is really rubbing off on me-

My point is is that there are always two sides to the story- and though someone may act out with reason it gives them no right to ignore the other side and start pointing fingers.

It's so complicated and I honestly wish I could share the entire story with you but there's so many details that only him and I know. And this is going back to last year, that's how serious it is.

It was a learning experience to read all the signs of a toxic friendship. I just should have never gotten myself in that position and he shouldn't have either.

But what's done is done. I've finally opened my eyes to the sort of person he is and it's not like he's a bad person he just doesn't know the way he acts out is wrong.

Take this as a learning experience and not just for myself. For yourselves as well. And I'm being completely honest when I say that if you have any sort of questions on how to deal with this I'm free to answer them 😂

I could've done a few things better and he could've done a few things better as well. But it's done, and hopefully a year from now I'll be able to share what the full story is.

But I want to end my day on a positive note, so here's a little funny story about redemption:

This summer I had a large but very good softball team. One being a girl that I knew of in 5th grade.

She was in 7th grade and we both took a summer softball camp. The 7th graders dominated the 5th graders because they had been playing softball longer.

I grew a fear of this girl because of her attitude and how big she seemed to me. I always felt she was judging me and honestly I would be so scared to go play the sport I loved because she was just so scary and rude.

She even commented on my pitching and I'm pretty sure it was a sarcastic, "Yeah you pitched great."

Back then I had no arm power so my pitches were hit able and everyone was getting home runs.

Years later I'm a 7th grader and she's in highschool as a 9th grader. I walk into the facility on my first day and see her waiting around for our coach, just her and I.

I felt so awkward because now that I had grown I wasn't afraid of her big mean attitude but the possible problem that she was my teammate and I would hate her for how she treated me.

So we both awkwardly threw together and I was scared that she threw really hard and that my hand hurt. Well my hand didn't actually hurt, and I was honestly much better than her.

So we went through our season without any problems and no words about our past. Until we were all talking to each other about our past and how we grew to love softball.

She mentioned the camp and I immediately changed my attention from a ball game (keep in mind I could very possibly be hit in the head) to listen to see if she remembered me.

"I went to this camp and my 7th grade self was such an ass. Since we knew softball already we acted like we owned the entire place and acted like complete jerks."

So of course I butt in and say "Lol I remember that."

She turns to me and laughs, "When you walked in on the first day I freaked out. I couldn't stop thinking there's that girl I acted like a complete jerk to, and I felt so bad."

I smiled and said "it's alright. Your not a jerk now so it's ok."

Then I roasted her.

Lol. We're good friends now, but the best friendships can literally be built from anything.
