The Girl Who Literally FAILED At Life

My Very Weird Day

So today was actually pretty good.

Just one problem. I know it's like I'm having problems everyday but it's not even a big deal. Kinda...

So there's this guy that was in my group (because we have an engineering class) and I've known him since pre school. And we were like REALLY good friends in pre school. REALLY good friends. I don't remember much but we were really good friends, and my parents even remember it because they mentioned that they saw his parents at the open house.

I don't think they talked because my parents aren't social people.

So let's give him a name... Brownie. Because he has brown hair and I remember he really liked this toy I had and it's name was Brownie so yeah his new name is Brownie.

Any who I don't think Brownie remembers me even though we were in the same first grade class before he transferred to that school. But he was actually able to pronounce my last name correctly so maybe his mind just clicked. Or maybe he does remember but he doesn't want to talk to me about it. Either way that's not the point.

So there's also this girl named Katie... another Katie I know 😂

She's an interesting person... she basically acts smart. She's your definition of someone who knows everything, she uses knowledge to her advantage and she's not afraid of socially expressing herself.

So we have the same music class and it's really boring in that class, like I was dying because I don't know how to play the ukulele. She just so happens to be seated next to me so she started starring me down in a weird way and smiling at me and I just smiled back because I thought that's how she approaches new people. Then she started to play with my hair and mess with my llama pencil case.

I let her because you know this is how you make friendships.

Note we never said anything to each other that whole class period.

Or just in general we've never talked.

So then later we had our engineering class and Brownie and I were in one group with two other guys and Katie was in a group next to ours. So we talked about how we would make our spaghetti bridge.

Then later when we were packing up for some reason his friend started talking about Brownie having a girlfriend and I was secretly laughing inside because can't really imagine this guy that I've known since 1st grade having a girlfriend. So Brownie was like, "Well I would've stayed with her but you know..."

So later we both sit down and I slightly turn in the direction of Katie, she smiles at me in a weird way and I just smile back.

And when I turn back around to face Brownie he kinda gives me a look and I look at him confused. So he says something along the lines of, "I need to tell you something important-"

So his friend says something and Brownie just starts coughing and I ask if he's ok. He nods and is like "I'm just trying to tell Lynda something." But then he kept on being interrupted by his friend and I couldn't hear what he was saying but he was smiling and making fun of him.

So Brownie covers his mouth away from Katie and whispers, "Katie and I. We used to be a thing."

So I kinda laugh awkwardly because why the fuck would he be telling me this?! "Yeah I can see that."

"Well it ended and I think that smile was just because-well she cheated on me?"

"With who?"

"Some guy she met in the summer."

So we start walking so I walk away thinking the conversation was over so he starts yelling my name and running toward me and so I stop and wait for him.

"Well Katie gave you that smile- and I um- I think it's because you know I was talking to you- and she doesn't like me talking to other girls because I don't usually talk to other girls- uh besides my friends of course- but um I just think she was jealous because I was talking to you." And then he just runs away.

So at first I think he's overreacting because she had the same behavior in music and I wasn't talking to him but then when I thought about it...

She hasn't said a word to me, it's obvious she's very comfortable in this school and since there are only 37 students in the grade it doesn't take much to be at the top of the social ladder. And then here comes a new girl that knows practically nothing about the school, she probably wanted to make an impression on me to either want me to be her friend. I mean what other better way then acting weird, it brings some sort of curiosity. I mean heck I was weirded out but I was like OH FRIEND MATERIAL!

And then the way she smiled at me, it was out of nowhere. She was obviously looking at me talking to Brownie and his friend/listening to their conversation because when I turned to face her it wasn't like I was trying to make eye contact. She had obviously been looking me over.

Idk. All I know is that I was talking to him because they were asking me questions, and I felt I had more leeway to talk to him since I've known him since pre school.

Idk but I'm not getting in their drama all though Katie might seem threaten by me because "SHE TALKED TO MY EX".

Lol. Nope. I'm out.

And I left my homework at school...

I'm gonna forge my parents signature.
