"I Haven't Played Kahoot Since 6th Grade"

JC really reminds me of Jason and i slightly cry inside every lunch period. They're really sweet there and all but no one can beat my original squad. I honestly sat in complete silence starring at the table.

I miss KC's sarcastic personality, I miss Mira and how many Hamilton moments we would have together, I miss Class Clown's bad jokes, I miss Jason and our inside joke, and I miss Lion Dude's stupid hair.

Everyone there is to nice, I feel like a jerk with my sarcasm. I don't feel truly connected with the class, I'm to afraid to give my opinion. In smaller groups with people I understand or are used to I can but I just don't feel comfortable.

I've made it sound like I'm some crazy athlete practicing 24/7 because softball is the only comfortable thing I can share.

That's why most of what I put in this book is my neighbor, Lele, JC, and Brownie. My Neighbor I've known for four years, Lele relates and goes out of her way to make sure I'm comfortable, JC reminds me of Jason (but calmer and nicer), and Brownie was my best friend in pre school.

But now this school is showing its true colors...

My teacher is convincing herself she's not anti gender fluid and transgender. The pervs are starting to come out....

So today we were playing Kahoot so I said, "Oh I haven't played Kahoot since 6th grade."

And Brownie says, "I haven't played you since-"

My eyes widen as he finishes "6th grade."

And then he immediately realizes what he said and says "Oh my gosh I'm so sorry I didn't mean to say that!"

But that's the sort of shit he says on a daily basis (except it's never been as far as actually talking about me in it). Nothing like this ever happened to me at my old school and idk what to do...

That's his impulse though.
