Some of these can be slightly more difficult. It was game night, which meant all four sides were situated in the commons, waiting for Patton to bring back the game they were going to play.
Patton sat down across from Virgil and in between Roman and Logan, and he placed a simple deck of cards on the table.
"Pat, they're just cards..."
"Yes, I know Virg, but there are many games we can play with them."
"Indeed, there is Go Fish, canasta, black jack, gin, and more."
"Okay Nerd, thank you for that, but what are we going to play?" Roman asked.
"I was thinking we could start with Go Fish!" Patton grinned, knowing Logan would win, but Virgil would have a fair chance.
Patton dealt the cards, after shuffling them, giving each trait 5 cards, and putting the remaining cards face down in the center.
Logan was the first to go, due to him being to the left of the dealer.
He asked Roman if he had any kings, to which he was told, "go fish" and he picked up a card from the center.
Virgil asked Patton if he had any two's, and he was told "Go fish."
They went around a few times, Logan having 3 sets of 4 cards, Virgil having 2 sets, and both Roman and Patton having 1.
Logan went again, asking Patton for kings, Patton had none, and he had to collect a card, resulting in him having 3 kings, and Virgil had the last one.
Virgil asked Logan for the kings, whilst rolling his eyes, Logan handed Virgil his three kings and Virgil put his third set down.
Over the next few rounds, Virgil had acquired another set, and so had Patton.
There were only three sets left, and there was no cards left in the center.
Roman wasn't having any luck, and he lost all of his cards to Patton, who finished his last set, and he had 1 card left. He asked Virgil if he had any of those cards, and he didn't.
Logan took Patton's last card, and the rest of Virgil's cards too.
Resulting in Logan having 5 sets, Virgil having 4, Patton having 3, and Roman having 1.
Roman sat pouting, claiming the game was unfair, he didn't know the rules, despite them being explained at the beginning, and him being able to play the game.
Virgil rolled his eyes fondly at his boyfriend.
"Roman, you did know the rules, you just had bad luck, and you didn't pay attention." Logan spoke, causing Roman to pout more, which made Virgil want to kiss him more, but Patton and Logan didn't know they were together, so Virgil stayed where he was, not wanting to give away their relationship just yet. He wanted to wait for the right time.
After playing a few more games, thy decided to pack up, and go to bed.
Logan and Patton went off to Patton's room, leaving Virgil and Roman sat on the floor, not having moved since the last game ended.
"Do you want anything?" Roman stood up and scanned hi boyfriends face.
"No I'm okay, thanks though."
Roman nodded and went to get himself something to drink, coming back to find Virgil curled up under a blanket on the sofa, half asleep.
"You could go to bed you know."
"Mm, but then I can't be with you."
"I would come with you."
"But I'm comfy..."
Roman rolled his eyes and walked over to Virgil, sitting himself next to him.
Virgil looked at Roman, silently asking him for cuddles.
Roman, being able to read Virgil like a book, placed his drink down, after drinking some, and wrapped his arms around his boyfriend. The two moved around a bit, before settling down, with Roman leaning against the back of the sofa, in the corner, arms around Virgil's waist, and head on his shoulder, and Virgil with his legs draped over Roman's, his arms around his boyfriend's shoulders, and face buried in his neck.
"Virg?"
"Hm?"
"You sure you don't want to go to bed? I can carry you."
Virgil tightened his grip on Roman, and shook his head.
Roman tilted Virgil's head up, and pressed a soft kiss to his lips, sending bolts of electric through both of their bodies, reminding them of the first time they kissed, they were both still in love with each other, and somehow no one else noticed, but they were okay with it, they liked being in their own little world.
They pulled away, and their foreheads were rested against each other, content to stay in that moment forever.
They were happy, and that's all they wanted.
