Hope this was alright for you.
I must apologise to the other people that have requested a oneshot, I know I have done them out of order, and I apologise, I just wanted to get something more out tonight, especially since I will be busy Thursday through Saturday.
Virgil was pacing by the door, negative thoughts swirling through his head, what if he got hurt? What if he got taken, kidnapped? What if he's dying?
He couldn't help it, but it had been hours since he'd last been seen in the Mindscape, and Virgil was losing his mind with worry.
Virgil knew he was able to face many things, and he was a strong aspect, but that didn't mean there wasn't the possibility for bad things to happen. His mind was swirling, and he stayed by the door for a few more hours, without even noticing the passing of time.
"Virg!"
"Hm?"
"Food's ready..."
"I'll be right there..." He said, a dreamy tone to his voice.
"Alright, hurry though, it'll go cold."
He muttered something along the lines of "ok" or "mhm" but he was left alone and not questioned or pestered any longer.
Despite being told to wait, he couldn't any longer, and he went off through the door, the sweet smell of flowers and grass filling his nostrils, along with the scent of bark and mud, indicating a forest was nearby.
He wandered around for a while, unable to find the aspect he was looking for.
He came across a village and asked around there, but none of the figments (get it? :D. No? Okay. Sorry) had seen him.
He sighed and continued on his journey, hoping the aspect hadn't already gone back to the Mindscape. He trudged through grass and flowers, picking a few along the way, constructing them into a colourful crown, that he noticed was pink and red.
He came across the forest, and he was skeptical about going in, but he remembered the trait he was looking for telling him that at the center was a lake, which shimmered in the sunlight, casting rainbows, and the fish and nymphs were always so kind, it was a beautiful place to go and sit and think, and there was this one rock, it was just the right size and shape for any of the sides to go and sit on, almost as though it was specifically made for one of them.
Despite the darkness, and his fear, he ventured into the forest anyway, and found it was actually beautiful. The smells could be rather overwhelming, however, they weren't unpleasant. Fireflies flew around the top of the tree canopy, casting a gently glow into the forest, flowers grew in all different directions, tangling together, yet still growing upwards. The trees weren't too tall, nor were they too short, just right for a side to walk through, and feel comfortable. Virgil noticed a few figments running around, and some animals and creatures he'd never seen before, and at one point, he was sure a tree looked at him. However, he didn't find the forest unsettling at all, he rather enjoyed walking through there, and seeing everything.
Eventually, the tress parted, revealing a shimmering lake, that had rainbows cast in it, when the light hit it just right, and there were nymphs swimming around, playing with the fish, singing gently and splashing each other, he even saw some mermaids, their tails glistening in the sun, and their hair, no matter how long they were underwater, never seemed to get wet, their tails were all different colours naturally, but all together, they were even more magnificent.
The Virgil's eyes landed on the aspect he had been searching for, he was sat with his back to the opening, a mistake, giving any creature the opportunity to sneak up and attack him, but he seemed content, his hair swept over to one side, his posture was slouched, and he was leaning forward, elbows on his knees most likely, and he was talking, softly, as to not disturb the peace that hung in the air.
"I love him so much, whenever he gets passionate, his eyes light up and he has this adorable smile, it's so different from his normal sarcastic smirk, although it's just as adorable, and his makeup, it's amazing, he does such a great job, he's so talented. And when he draws... It's the most adorable thing ever, the way his tongue pokes out the side of his mouth, he looks so concentrated, and his hair always flops in front of his face and he gets frustrated, but it's so cute when he does. He makes me want to pepper kisses all over his face, and I'm so glad I get to call him mine."
Virgil found himself blushing, he knew Roman loved him, but he didn't know he noticed all of those things, the things Virgil did without thinking, and the things that annoyed him.
"You really think that?" He asked, causing the royal to turn around, slightly startled at seeing Virgil.
"Why of course I do! I wouldn't lie, you're stunning, dearest."
Virgil blushed under the gaze of his lover, who made his way over to Virgil, wrapping his arms around the younger's waist.
Roman leaned into the darker side and pressed his lips to Virgil's.
They stayed wrapped in each other's embrace, lips together for a while, before pulling apart, and having a short discussion about heading back to the Mindscape.
They walked back, a comfortable silence hanging over them, and if Patton got a little bit upset with Virgil for leaving and not saying anything, it was soon ignored and the four sides, two couples, sat and watched a movie, content to be in each other's company.

I was thinking of maybe doing a get to know me chapter or something, so if you want to know something about me, ask away, or if you want to see anything in particular in here, like anything, I don't know, but let me know, and I'll see what I can do.
Hope you enjoyed
Take care
