T.W. Sadness
Patton sat in his boyfriend's bed, tears falling down his face, Thomas was going through a rough time, and he was also rather depressed, after a particularly bad breakup, and he couldn't help it. During the day, he maintained his happy, bubbly façade, but at night, when everyone else was asleep, it dropped, and he broke, his tears fell, and he wasn't acting, he was himself, and he didn't want anyone else to know.
He was haunted, by the memories of the relationship, whenever he was in his room, the memories were amplified, and he couldn't help it, he tried to leave his room as often as possible, but for some reason, he wasn't sure why, he would rather stay in his room, remember everything that went on during that relationship. He liked to remember, and he liked remembering how happy Thomas was.
No amount of time could remove the pain he felt.Where his heart was, felt like a black hole, he felt empty, and he hated it. He felt heavy, and his mind was racing, and he found it hard to deal with. He wanted to talk about it, let his boyfriend know what was going on, but he couldn't seem to open up.
He was holding everything back, what if when Roman found out, he didn't want to be with Patton any longer? What if he changed his mind? The "what ifs" swirled through his mind and he couldn't get them to leave. He held everything back, his feelings, and he stopped being himself. He just did his job.
They fought often, he and Roman, Roman sensed something was off, but Patton lied, every time, he didn't want Roman worrying, he didn't want Roman to know. So, he said he was fine. He wasn't fine, and Roman would yell, tell him to talk to him. And every time, Patton would forgive him, but he wouldn't forget.

Roman knew something was wrong with his boyfriend, and he wouldn't tell him. He wanted to help him remove the pain, he wanted to save him from himself, he was a Prince, and what good was he doing if his boyfriend was suffering?
Roman loved Patton, he would love him no matter what, he would love him until the pain stopped, from beginning to end, and he wasn't ready for that to change. He knew, when he was sleeping, Patton was lying awake, crying, hating himself, hurting.
His mistakes hit him hard, he knew he was wrong, and he was slowly drowning in the mistakes he made. He knew he was wrong, yet he kept doing those things, he wanted to protect Patton, yet every time he tried, Patton and he got into a fight, and it wasn't good. His mistakes landed him where he was.
Roman tried to make him feel better, put him back together. He tried to fix it, and he couldn't. He tried and tried but nothing seemed to work. He didn't know what to do.
He loved Patton, he always had, and he would until the end of the Earth, until the sun died, until they were no longer breathing. Patton was his always and he wouldn't ever let Patton forget that.

Patton Loved Roman. It was undeniable, he loved him like pain didn't exist, he loved him like he wasn't afraid, but he still held back and he couldn't help it, he would always hold back.

"I love you like you've never felt the pain, I promise you don't have to be afraid, the love you see right here stays, so lay your head on me, cause little do you know, I'll love you until the sun dies." Roman sang softly to Patton, calming down the steady flow of tears, "I'm here and I will always be here, no matter what happens. I love you."
Roman pressed a soft kiss to his boyfriend's lips, which was returned.
When they pulled apart, Patton uttered an "I love you." And they lay together, falling asleep in one another's arms.
After that, Patton didn't hold back, he went to Roman, he spoke to Roman and Roman would help him through any issues he was facing, and the four sides helped Thomas through his breakup, allowing him, and Patton, to feel happier again.
