Patton loves to bake, everyone knows that.

He's the Dad that bakes for his "sons," which in reality are just his neighbors that happen to be very close friends of his.

But what most of the people don't know, is the time Patton left a cake sat in his cupboard for two months.

He'd gone about baking, as he usually does, and made a cake from the melted ice cream he'd left sat out of the freezer for an hour.

Whilst he was waiting for the cake to cool, so he could decorate it, he made some cookies, which took up all of his time and attention, much like the new baby of the family, and the cake got neglected. It sat on the side, waiting to be decorated and eaten.

It sat on the side for the rest of the day, and as Patton was about to head to bed, he, in his half-asleep delirious state, covered the cake and put it away in the cupboard, that he never uses.

Over the next two months, Patton had completely dismissed the cake from his mind, and he'd gone about his life as normal, even meeting a nice guy, which he started dating.

As it was nearing Christmas, he thought about making some festive cookies, which was when he just so happened to stumble across the cake he had hidden two months prior.

He thought about what he could do, he didn't want to waste an entire cake, so he ended up turning them into "cookies," which were just hardened, stale cake cut into festive shapes.

He decorated them, and gave them to his good friend Virgil, who he knew would find something to do with them, but he made sure to advise him not to eat the "cookies."

Virgil found out why he'd been asked not to eat them by pressuring Patton into telling him.

Once he'd been told what was going on, he formed a plan, and set about putting it into action.

He arranged the cookies on a plate, and wrote a short note, addressing it to his noisy neighbor, Roman, and went to knock on his door.

Although the two didn't talk much, they'd had plenty of interesting interactions.

Like the time Virgil called out Roman for allowing his dog to use his lawn as a bathroom, or the time Roman had shouted at Virgil for being within an inch of his mailbox.

The main reason behind Virgil's Random Act of "Kindness" was the fact that Roman would wake up at 6am and begin singing, which woke Virgil up, and put him in a pretty foul mood.

Whilst waiting for his neighbor, Virgil took a look around the street the lived on, and noticed how quiet it appeared to be.

Roman answered soon after, slightly shocked to see Virgil on his front step.

"I made cookies, well, actually my friend made them, but he thought you may enjoy them, I don't know, he was busy so he couldn't come over, but he thought you may want to have some." Virgil stopped himself, he knew he was ranting and if he wasn't careful, the truth would come out pretty soon.

Roman sent him a small smile and took the cookies, inviting Virgil inside, who kindly declined, he had elsewhere to be, which in his world meant, "I'm going to go and sit in bed watching whatever I want on TV."

Roman nodded, and Virgil departed, leaving to go to his own house, after walking around the block, to make sure Roman didn't see him go into his house.

Virgil found himself happy that his plan worked, Roman stayed quiet for a while, maybe because the "cookies" made him sick, or maybe he was just too afraid to try anything else, or maybe both, who's to know.

However, Virgil was very cautious when it came to anything after that, he knew revenge was just around the corner.
