I don't really know what happened when writing this. It went a little all over the place. But this is the end product.

Unedited.

When Virgil reached his room, Patton was sat up in his bed, curious as to where Virgil had gone.

Virgil set the tray down next to Patton, indicating it was for him, just to make him feel better. Patton sent Virgil a small smile, and took the tray, and began to eat.

As Patton ate, Virgil sat next to him, his mind taking him back to the times Roman would kiss him lovingly and play with his hair.

The last night they were truly together played strongly.

"Please Virgil, I want to watch it with them."

"But I hate watching movies with them, they're always so... ew?"

"So their love is ew? Does that mean our love is too?"

"That's not what I meant."

"Then what did you mean?"

"I meant, they're too much sometimes, I don't like it, it's cringey, ours, I like it, it's so nice, and it's not too much."

Roman watched the youngest trait, taking in his features, the way his eyes glinted gold when the light hit them just right, the way his hair was messy, yet neat, his hoodie slipped down over his hands, despite the number of times he pushed the sleeves back up, the way he was anxious and vulnerable around Roman, the way he trusted Roman with his life.

Roman fell deeper in love with him every day, and Virgil knew it. For he was experiencing it too, neither knew love before they were together, and they were happy.

He finally caved and they walked to the commons, maintaining a small conversation over which Disney songs were the best, neither wished to disrupt the other two in the room, however, Virgil noticed they had gained Logan's attention.

As he watched Logan more and more, he noticed how much he was staring at Roman, which made him feel rather uncomfortable.

Virgil moved closer to Roman, and cuddled up against him, he saw the way Logan looked at Roman, it was the way he had looked at Patton, and the way Patton and looked at him.

A gaze that showed true emotion, and love.

A gaze he was sure he had used many times before.

As the movie played on in the background, he found himself glancing over to Logan and Patton more and more often, he wanted to make sure Logan wasn't staring at Roman, but he also found his gaze traveling to Patton, why, he wasn't sure, but it kept happening.

Roman began to run his fingers through Virgil's hair, causing him to become more relaxed and tired. His eyes slowly dropped, unable to stay open any longer, and he fell into a deep slumber.

As the next morning rolled around, he awoke to the sun streaming in on the room, and he noticed Patton was missing from Logan's arms.

He got up to go and investigate the whereabouts of him.

Virgil found Patton sat on one of the kitchen chairs, his head in his hands.

"Are you alright Patton?" Virgil's voice shook him from whatever state he was in, and startled him.

"Virg! I'm okay, I just... came to... food?"

"Pat?"

"Sorry, I just needed to think"
