T.W. Panic attack and negative thoughts
Roman was stressed. He couldn't come up with one idea, his mind was blank, leaving Thomas devoid of ideas. And it was driving him insane.
He was shutting himself off, slipping into panic attacks and trying to drum up just one idea. He would go to his room, looking for inspiration, he would talk to the others, he tried anything, and nothing, nothing was working.
Roman had suffered an attack, and he knew Virgil would have been there, but he didn't want to bother the anxious trait.
He washed his face, and left his room, putting up his facade and hoping no one saw otherwise.
"Are you okay Roman?" Virgil asked.
"I'm fine" he spoke almost monotonously, worrying the naturally worried trait.
Don't lie to him. He'll worry.
He's already worried
You don't want him to worry.
Lying to him is bad, but at least you haven't told him the truth, that would be worse.
STOP!
The thoughts in his head silenced, and he left the room and felt tears sting his eyes, he'd just got over an attack, couldn't he make it at least an hour before another one surfaced.
He felt his breathing increase, apparently not, he thought to himself bitterly.
He hid away in his room for the rest of the day, not thinking about eating. He slipped in and out of attacks, worrying about what his host would think of him.
Patton was the one to check up on him, he knocked and knocked, but got no response, so he walked in and found Roman curled up in the corner of his room.
Patton made his way over, making sure his presence was know, as to not scare the fanciful trait.
"Roman?"
The fanciful trait lifted his head.
"P-pat..?" His voice came out hoarse and broken.
Patton moved and hugged the trait close to him, hoping to calm him down, pressing a kiss to his temple.
"What's wrong Roman?"
"I-I'm a failure..."
"No. You're not, what happened?"
"I c-can't thing of a-any ideas. W-what will T-Thomas think o-of me?" He spoke, trying to remain calm and not break down again.
"You have been working so hard, Thomas will admire you, and he will never be disappointed unless you do something completely idiotic. He cares about you, and he'll understand that you lose motivation and inspiration sometimes"
Roman sent the fatherly trait a small smile, and let himself be moved over to his bed, and be held in a loving embrace, muttering an "I love you" before he fell asleep.
Patton muttered it back and although Roman was asleep, he knew he was loved.
