Roman and Patton had recently started dating.
They would never have thought that the two of them would think or feel the same way towards each other. They both felt things strongly, but both were passionate about completely different things.
One morning, Roman decided he wanted to do something to show he cared for the bubbly trait, being the extravagant part of Thomas' personality.
He made sure he got up early, before Patton usually got up, and he went to the kitchen.
He looked around to see what he could make for his love. He soon realized everything there was in the kitchen of the mind palace required cooking, and he knew he could not do that without causing a fire, which would ruin the entire morning he had planned for him and Patton.
Eventually, he settled on a bowl of cereal he knows the other enjoys.
He went up to the fatherly traits room and entered, knowing they would be asleep. Placing the bowl on the bedside table, he went to wake up his boyfriend.
"Puppy..." he placed a hand on the sleeping traits shoulder and felt them begin to stir.
Slowly, the other woke up, slightly confused as to why his Prince was there, waking him up.
"I fixed you breakfast. I know it's just a bowl of cereal, but it's the only thing I can't burn..." the fanciful trait explained.
Sitting up in bed, Patton grinned, "Ro, you didn't have to!"
"I know, Puppy, but I wanted to do something nice for you, you're always doing something for everyone else, you deserve to have the actions reciprocated."
Patton grinned, pulling Roman into a hug. Roman smiled and sat next to his love and latched onto his side whilst the other was eating the breakfast that was prepared for him.
As soon as Patton had finished his cereal, he pulled his significant other into a more comfortable position, letting them sit together and cuddle.

Patton had had one of those days where he just didn't stop. Virgil was sick and Logan was getting very stressed because of work and needing to help Thomas with his uploading schedule. Roman had been away in the imagination all day, and Patton was worried, only adding to the pressure to be the best dad and Boyfriend to the other sides.
Patton went to his room after finishing tidying up the mind palace, and checking on Virgil and Logan.
Logan reassured Patton that he would check on Virgil and make sure he was doing okay, just to give him a break.
Patton flopped on his bed, completely worn out.
Just as he was drifting off into a peaceful slumber, a knock on the dorr startled him awake, "come in" he mumbled.
Roman strolled in and lay next to the tired side. "Hi Puppy."
Patton looked at his boyfriend and smiled instantly moving closer to him to relax more. "Hi Ro!"
Roman instantly felt happier being around his bubbly boyfriend.
The two of the maneuvered into a more comfortable position and cuddled, talking about their days and allowing them to stay close.
Shortly after, the two of the drifted off into a peaceful slumber, both with small albeit noticeable smiles on their faces.
