Do they have a ship name?
Dexiety (tried to autocorrect to sexiest)
Anxieceit?
Idk eh. Who cares.

TW: Negativity.

Deceit had started showing up more and more in videos on Thomas' channel, he had starting becoming harsher towards the other sides and bout himself.

Despite speaking in lies, and the other sides knowing this, they still thought he was being kind.

Virgil knew of Deceits ways, but he was angry at him for taking Patton's place, no matter how long ago it was. He wasn't going to forgive deceit that easily.

However, after the last video, he realised he needed to talk to deceit.

The one comment deceit made stuck in his mind, "Oh I just LOVE myself, and I bet you guys LOVE me too. Although I do see why you would."

Virgil frowned to himself as he knocked on Deceit's door.

The lying trait answered, "Oh how lovely to see you," he spoke sarcastically.

"Cut the crap, Deceit."

"What, I'm not talking crap?"

Virgil let himself into the other traits room and turned to face him, after the other had closed the door.

"Why are you here?" He asked, though Virgil was unsure whether he cared or not.

"What's the deal? You're making more negative and self-deprecating comments than I do."

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"Quit lying, it doesn't work."

"I'm not lying, you are."

Virgil groaned in frustration.

"Deceit, you're not okay, please explain why."

"I am okay." Deceit's tough exterior was cracking, and Virgil could see.

"Deceit, please..."

"You care." He spoke sarcastically.

"Yes, I actually do. I know what it's like to feel like no one is there. I know what's it's like to sit in your room alone, wondering what you did wrong, and why everyone hates you, even though they really don't they're just being cautious about you. They don't know you and you want them too, but you don't want to get hurt. I know how you feel."

This caused Deceit to break, tears fell down his cheeks, he sat on his bed, trying to calm himself down, and he looked at the other darker trait.

"Do they really hate me?" He asked, genuinely worried.

"No, I don't think they do."

"They act like it."

"I know."

"What do I do? I don't want to be hated, I want them to like me, I want to fit it, and I want to be one of you."

"Talk to them"

"But lies always fall out."

"Then say the opposite of what you mean."

"They only see me as bad."

"They'll learn you're not that bad."

"You mean it?"

"I do."

Deceit turned to Virgil, and Virgil could see how many times the negativity had swirled around him mind, he could see how badly he and the other sides were making him feel.

Virgil sat next to the snake eyed trait, and pulled him into a hug.

"Do you hate me?" Deceit asked, fear laced in his voice

"I don't hate you."

"Even though I do my job and it's bad?"

"You can't help who you are."

Their gazes met, and Virgil found himself moving closer to the other trait, who met him half way.

Their lips moved in sync, and Deceit found himself actually feeling happier.

They pulled away, staying relatively close to each other.

"I hate you." Deceit spoke, immediately going back to himself.

Virgil smirked, and spoke Deceits language. "I hate you too, but I love me."

Deceit frowned. "Don't. Don't hate yourself" he spoke honestly.

"You can't change that De."

"I know, but maybe I can make you love you less, and hate me more."

He pressed his lips to the anxious trait's and moved them so that Deceit was hovering above him, and he smirked, "Don't call me De, I hate it."

"Then don't kiss me."

They smiled, and Deceit kissed him once more.

Deceit pulled away, causing a pout to form on Virgil's lips.

He lay next to the emo side, and kissed his temple, pulling him into a hug.

From then on, Deceit would go to Virgil if he was feeling excluded, and vice versa. And Soon, Deceit started becoming one of the main sides, and he started feeling as though he belonged, however, he still spoke in lies, but hey, at least it's better than riddles, right?
