I'm sorry. It's bad. And not what you wanted. I'm sorry.
Virgil and Logan sat together on the sand, they weren't sure how long they'd been there, but despite their bickering to begin with, they were content to sit in each other's company.
In reality, they'd been there for over a week, and Roman, Thomas, and Patton were going insane, trying to find them.
"There you are!" A voice called, breaking the two from the trance they were in.
"What?"
"You've been gone for a week," Roman told the anxious aspect.
"We have?" Logan questioned, ignoring the strange feeling in the pit of his stomach.
He sighed, and got to his feet, helping the anxious persona to his feet after, neither said anything about what was going to happen, had they not been interrupted, but Patton sensed something between them. Whilst Roman, Logan and Thomas were ahead, Patton spoke to Virgil.
"What's going on between you two?"
"We bonded... I guess."
"There's more there."
"I like him a lot." Virgil hissed, and sighed. "He... We were about to kiss..."
"Oh, I'm sorry Virgil, I know feelings are hard for the both of you."
"Yeah, forget it. It doesn't matter." With that, Virgil stuffed his hands in his pockets, and sped up, catching up to the other two traits and their host.
Patton frowned and caught up to the other males, ignoring the unnerving feeling he got from talking to Virgil about the feelings.
-
The five of them soon arrived home, and Virgil locked himself in his room, and they were all worried. Had they done something wrong?
Logan went to check on him.
"Go away..." came the muffled response to his knock.
"Virgil..."
"No."
"Please."
He got no response, he heard shuffling from behind the door, and he wasn't sure if the silence was an indication for him to come in, or if he would just be ignored.
A few minutes passed, and he came face to face with the anxious trait.
"Are you alright?" He asked, noting the fear in his eyes, and the way he seemed more introverted.
"No. You should go."
"Why? I will not go, you are troubled, and I wish to help."
"You can't"
"Please, let me in..."
"I don't..." He looked behind him upon hearing a loud noise, and he flinched slightly.
The actions unnerved Logan, and he wasn't sure what happened, but something told him to leave, and get help, and that he did.
-
"You could have ruined it for everyone." The dark figure turned to Virgil, who was sat tied up on the floor.
"S-sorry..." He muttered, sucking his head, ignoring the piercing gaze from the darker trait in front of him, who snapped their fingers, and pulled him closer.
"You will do as I say, and very slowly we will break Logan." Virgil whimpered, but nodded, too afraid to disagree. He liked Logan, a lot, but he knew that if he disagreed with the darker personality, he would be severely punished.
-
Over the course of the following few months, Virgil was watched closely, and he followed the instructions of the trait holding power over him.
He developed a relationship with Logan, and as much as it pained him, he had to start hurting him at some point.
It started in an argument.
"Well maybe I just feel sorry for you, since no one really likes you." Tears filled his eyes as he spoke words he didn't mean, words that were forced out of his mouth, and into his mind, words that would never have been there to begin with.
The darker figure grinned, and watched from the shadows, watching as Logan crumbled slightly.
What he didn't see was the anxious trait mouthing "help" to Logan, who saw the terror in his eyes.
Logan stormed out of the room, and the darker figure came forward, praising Virgil, who just curled up in bed, a heavy weight on his chest.
-
Months passed, and he said more horrible things to Logan, and every time, pleaded with his eyes for help, and every time, Logan would storm out.
He was beginning to think Logan didn't want to help him. Then one day, during an argument, Logan stepped forward and pressed his lips to Virgil's, a passionate kiss, one which overpowered the darker shadow holding Virgil. The figure weakened, and the longer they kissed, and the more passion put into the kiss, the more they weakened.
The two males soon parted, and the figure was nothing more than a speck of dust.
"I'm so sorry... I didn't... Mean any of it..." Virgil cried, sobbing into the Logical lineament's shirt.
The two moved over to the bed, and Virgil curled up into the Logical persona's side.
"Can we start over? Move past this?" Virgil murmured into Logan's shirt.
"I would love to." Virgil smiled, and curled up into Logan's side even more, if possible. The two soon fell asleep, happy to be with the one they love.
