Unedited (and bad.)
I don't know.
He sighed and ran his hand through his hair for the fifth time, yet it never looked neat, he tugged at his shirt, but it never felt comfortable. He rolled his tongue around his mouth, yet he was sure his breath was still foul. He wrinkles his nose, and sighed. He didn't know who he was.
Any food he ate tasted sour, anything he drank tasted bitter. He looked like a wreck and he hated it. He felt like he couldn't do his job, it just induced attack after attack.
People were everywhere, and voices clouded his thoughts.
What was he doing?
He didn't know.
He dropped the pen in his hand, and winced at the sound it made on his desk, it was 3am, and any sound was too loud. He looked at his page.
"I love you" was written over and and over again, in different styles, and it took up an entire page.
He sighed, and ran his hand through his hair once more. He turned his phone over to look at the song playing, he'd almost forgotten about the music in the background. His headphones had fallen around his neck at some point, and he could faintly hear the melody.
What was he doing?
He got up, and flopped, face first, onto his bed and groaned, temporarily forgetting what time it was. Whilst he stayed up until 5am most nights, he never left his room, so when he decided to, he was really questioning himself.
He silently padded down the hallway, making sure he made no noise, he didn't want to wake any of the other sides up.
He made it to the kitchen, and was surprised to see another aspect sat at the counter.
"Logan?" He murmured, causing said trait to look up, slightly startled by the sudden noise.
"Ah, salutations Virgil." Said aspect remained in he doorway, unsure of whether or not to go into the kitchen.
"Why are you up?" Virgil asked.
"My Mind was too occupied."
"Oh."
"Why are you up?"
"I was hungry. And I never sleep anyway."
"We should change that."
"We?"
"Yes."
The two settled into a silence, and Virgil moved over to stand next to Logan, he wrung his hands together, a nervous habit.
"Why do you not sleep?"
"I think too much. I'm Anxiety. What do you expect?"
"I thought... maybe you would sleep."
"I don't."
Virgil sighed and looked down, his hoodie sleeves were over his hands, and it took all he had to not mess with them. He liked Logan. He knew that, but he also knew, Logan didn't feel the same way. How he knew, he didn't know. He just knew. (Say knew one more time >.<)
Logan had inched closer, and Virgil could see him out of the corner of his eye.
The logical aspect reached his hand over, and covered one of Virgil's, a loving, caring action, that made Virgil's insides melt.
He leaned over and rested his head on Logan's shoulder, and sighed in content, as Logan wrapped his arm around Virgil's waist.
The action was unusual, and neither trait really knew how to react, yet it was comforting, that they both were doing something they knew little about.
Virgil tilted his head up, and caught Logan's gaze, the logical facet had a small smile adorning his lips, and without either realising, they were leaning forward.
Their lips met, and a fiery passion surrounded them. They forgot where they were, the time of day, and the fact that they were supposed to be asleep. Their lips fit together perfectly, Virgil's arms wrapped loosely around Logan's waist, Logan's arms draped over Virgil's shoulders. The logical facet was leaning on the side, using both the counter and Virgil as support, both of the sides knees were about to give beneath them, yet their focus was in the kiss and that way it make them feel. The way Logan's dry lips were soft, and contested perfectly with Virgil's chapped rough ones. They adored the feeling of their lips together, and wished that didn't have to part, yet they had to breath, and only then, did they part. Their breaths came out short and fast, yet smiles lit up their faces, the cheeks were coated in a light pink hue, and their foreheads were rested together, allowing them to gaze into each other's chocolatey eyes.
"Damn." Virgil muttered, in awe of the situation.
"Language." Logan muttered, causing Virgil to let a small, breathy chuckle escape.
Their lips met once more, and this time, they, despite it being slow, took it slightly further, and when they parted, they looked slightly discombobulated.
"We should go to bed." Logan broke the silence, and Virgil agreed.
The two headed to the logical aspects room, and lay in bed, murmuring a soft goodnight, and sharing a small kiss, before falling asleep in each other's arms.
