FLUFFY MOXIETY THATS HAPPY ENDING AND NO PAIN.

Virgil loved animals.

Any kind. He would help them, save them, heal them.

He had a small area in his room that he dedicated to an animal hospital area, he would take them in, and help them be well again.

None of the other sides knew about it, and he wasn't planning on telling any of them any time soon.

Roman would make fun of him, Logan would tell him it was unsanitary, and Patton would probably try and be happy for him.

Key word being try.

So, he kept it quiet, he disappeared for days at a time, and searched for animals in need of help, and he bought them back, and if his room was too small, he'd bring his medical supplies with him, and make a shelter for them, visiting them daily, until they were well again.

Many of the animals in the Imagination remembered what Virgil did for them, and they would come over and greet him.

Not only did he help the animals, but also the people, and occasionally Roman when he came back after having a fight.

Although Virgil's rules about the healing process were strict, Roman almost always disobeyed them, which frustrated Virgil. But he still patched him up anyway.

Virgil was in his room with a small black kitten who had fallen out of a particularly tall tree, and damaged her front legs, potentially breaking them.

Virgil held her close, trying to calm her down, she was mewing rather loudly and was bound to get the attention of another side. He tried to shush her, or hold her down, or bandage her up, but he couldn't hold her, she kept trying to escape, and run around, despite the pain.

Virgil sighed frustrated, he never had this much of a problem with any other animal before, he didn't know why she wasn't cooperating. He tried food, and treats, catnip and toys, but nothing helped, she kept being loud and fidgety.

He gave up, and began packing up, when she nudged at his hand, he reached out to her and she backed up, putting weight on her front paws, and making a sound of distress.

A knock at the door made her silence, and Virgil dropped the equipment he had in his hands, he got up and brushed off as much of the fur as he could, leaving the kitten to clean her paws in the corner of the room, not making any sound, despite it being painful.

He opened the door, revealing Patton, and some movies.

"Wanna watch a movie Virgy?" He asked excitedly.

Virgil glanced behind him, and didn't see the kitten, panic settled inside him, and he denied, telling Patton he was busy.

The kitten hopped up on the bookcase by the door, mewing in pain, and nudged at the doorframe, revealing herself to Patton.

Virgil internally face palmed, the stupid kitten, she didn't understand he was trying to keep her hidden.

Patton saw her, and despite his allergies, he picked her up, and she curled up in his arms, purring at him, the DVD's on the floor, long forgotten.

Virgil sighed, and led Patton into his room, asking him to sit on the floor, so he could look at the kitten's front legs.

Patton sat, occasionally sneezing, however, the kitten stayed asleep in his arms.

Virgil managed to bandage up her front paws, and give her some painkillers to help her.

Thanking Patton, he put the stuff away, and watched Patton with the kitten.
