Surprise (Thomas x Roman)

The sides watched as Joan and Talyn took Thomas out of the front door. He didn't know why, and it was to remain that way.

They had 2 hours to se up the living room, and make sure everything was ready.

Patton rushed to the kitchen, making sure he had time to make, bake, ice, and put candles on the cake. Logan set about wrapping the gifts, some were already wrapped, but others had yet to be done. Which left Roman, Virgil, and Deceit to decorate. It wasn't going to end well.

Roman found the decorations, and he and Virgil had got nearly half done when it happened.

Deceit snuck up behind Virgil and startled him by popping a balloon, causing Virgil to tumble backwards off the sofa, and in his hands, he held a streamer, which, as he fell, for tangled around his self, and he ended up on the ground tangled with ribbon. Deceit burst out laughing, and the commotion had gained the attention of the other three sides.

"Kiddo, are you alright?" Patton rushed over and helped detangle Virgil.

"I'm fine." Virgil huffed, finally getting to his feet. His boyfriend, Logan, came over and hugged him from behind, a silent reassurance that it was okay, and would be over soon. He leaned into his boyfriends hold, and left Roman and Deceit to do the decorating.

Virgil went with Logan to finish wrapping the gifts, and then the two split ways. Logan went to help finish decorating, since the two imbeciles couldn't get the work finished. Leaving Virgil to go to Patton and help decorate the cake, and a batch of cookies.

Finally, the five of them were done, and set everything up, before turning the lights off, and hiding so they could surprise Thomas.

All too soon, they heard the familiar sound of a car on gravel, and a voices of Thomas and his friends.

They walked inside, and the five traits jumped out and yelled "SURPRISE!"

Thomas looked around in awe, in all honesty, he'd thought they'd forgotten about his birthday. Roman walked over and pulled Thomas into a small kiss, before he went to the sofa, to open gifts.

By the end of the day, Thomas was happy, and glad that he at least had his sides and two best friends to share the day with.
