Virgil had been having a rough few weeks and he finally confided in his friends.

They pulled him close and told him he was loved.

Roman came up with an idea to help Virgil when it came to rough patches in the future.

He pulled out a box of paperclips, all different colours; black, blue, purple, gold, green, pink. Any colour he has it.

He told them to make a chain, that would fit around their wrists.

They did that, and they helped one another attach them.

"It's continuous, like your heartbeat, like the love people hold for you. It can only be broken when taken off, unlike a mask, which remains intact, and only you break. Everyone will love you no matter how broken you are, but trust in them to help you. Every breath you take it worth it. And as long as we all wear them, we're not alone. We're here for one another. Always."

Virgil felt his eyes fill with tears, Patton let tears slip, and Logan had a sad smile on his face.

The four males sat together, hugging each other.

And from then on, they would go to one another when they needed reassurance.
