Part 69 😏😏
Sorry, nothing exciting. Also, sorry for the bad title, I have no ideas.
Platonic or romantic, however you see it.
Virgil was having an off day.
He didn't know why, or what was wrong, really, he just felt sad.
He couldn't explain it, and he knew if anyone said anything that showed they cared, he would break.
He knew any amount of affection would make him upset.
Which is why he chose to hide away in his room, for the entire day.
He knew it would make the others come looking for him, but he needed to be alone for a while.
Roman was the first to show up, much to Virgil's surprise, and although he was obnoxious and annoying, Virgil didn't mind that he showed up.
The regal trait allowed Virgil to vent, and sit in silence when needed, which was much appreciated, and he even offered some input when Virgil was needing it.
Virgil found he rather liked being alone with Roman, when he wasn't being obnoxious.
Patton showed up a little while later, rather confused as to why Virgil hadn't come out of his room.
In response Virgil just shrugged and looked away, he thought Roman would blurt out what Virgil had said to him, but he was wrong, Roman just sat and watched him, allowing the three to fall into a comfortable silence.
They sat on Virgil's bed, allowing him to have the comfort he needed, without it being too much.
Logan showed up last, since he was unable to find them anywhere else, Virgil's room was the only place left to search, he was rather confused at what was going on, and why the three were sat on Virgil's bed, not doing anything, not even talking.
Although he didn't voice his question, he knew he wouldn't fully understand if they had answered him anyway.
He made his way over to them, and sat awkwardly on the end of the bed, he was immediately pulled into a hug from Patton, resulting in him being on the end of the bed, the opposite side of Patton to Virgil.
They ended up, being a large tangle of limbs, and through the silence, muffled sobs could be heard.
"Virg? What's wrong?" Patton was the first to ask.
"I j-just... had a bad day, I d-don't know w-why, and th-this tipped m-me over the e-edge."
Virgil let himself be held against Patton's chest, with Roman hugging him from behind, and Logan's hand rested on his shoulder.
He finally managed to calm down, enough to thank them for being there anyway.
From that day on, he didn't worry about any of them judging him, and if he had a bad or off day, he would go to them for reassurance or help.
