Friends (Analogical?)

This is new and weird and I don't know what it is. But it's taken me a while to get it done. And I hope it's okay/enjoyed.

It's a poem, I guess.

If you want to be my friend, prepare for messy hair,

And days that I don't care.

We'll have late night talks,

And long daily walks.

Days where silence engulfs me,

And days that you are who I need to see.

Sometimes, I won't feel the need to chat,

Other times, I won't shut up.

I'll have days where I question everything,

And days where I do nothing.

Some days will be spontaneous,

Or I'll feel extraneous

Things can be overwhelming,

But I try to keep on smiling.

Even on days where I feel like crying,

Just know I'm still trying.

And if you wish to be my boyfriend too,

Expect all of this and more, because I love you.
