Read part one in -Satan_- book

Virgil and Patton left the fight.

Virgil was slightly annoyed with Roman for pulling Logan away from the debate the two were having. Although the two were "enemies," they did enjoy their debates.

Like Patton and Roman, Logan and Virgil were in a romantic relationship. However, it wasn't just to be a constant pain, which they were anyway, but they just loved each other, and they kind of... clicked, as soon as they met.

Whereas Roman did not like Patton when they first met, they were partnered against each other, and Roman instantly knew beating Patton would be easy, the other male just didn't show the confidence Roman did when it came to battle.

However, Roman, to say the least, got his butt kicked. Patton beat Roman, and Roman never jumped to conclusions again.

He was confused as to why he was paired with a hero when he was training, but he realized after a while, that fighting Patton helped him when it came to being out in the field.

Once Roman got over being a sore loser, he and Patton became good friends, soon after forming a relationship.

When it came to the two of them fighting out in the field, they hated it, they knew they had an act they had to uphold, but they hated not being able to do anything about it, they knew the other pairs secret too, not that it was much of a secret. Virgil and Logan had never been good at feelings, so they weren't very good at lying about everything that was going on.

When it came to everyone in a group battle, Roman and Patton found themselves inching towards working together, and Virgil often noticed, bringing the two back to reality, reminding them of their roles.

Things had started getting out of hand when it came to the battles between the four of them, Virgil found himself disagreeing with Patton more and more, and the same with Logan and Roman. Often, one or more of them would come out of a battle injured, severely sometimes.

One battle, their last, was particularly bad.

The four were up in the air, Virgil and Patton glaring at Logan and Roman.

They had gotten into a heated argument, and they were all currently against each other.

Roman had a fireball in his hand, ready to throw at anyone who argued with him, so did Patton.

Logan and Virgil wanted to step in and say something, but both were terrified of how the other two would react.

Virgil moved over to his partner, Patton, and tried to calm him down, however, he did the exact opposite of what he intended, and cause Logan to move forward, to try and protect Virgil, but it was too late.

Patton had struck Virgil with the fireball, and Logan caught the other male before he could hit the ground.

Roman took this as a sign of weakness and betrayal and got Patton to help him take the other two males to the HQ.

Virgil was tended to in the infirmary, whilst Logan was locked in a cell, where Virgil joined him a few days later, after he had healed enough to stand.

Patton and Roman visited the two males once, but it was enough.

"We thought, I thought, you had changed." Patton spoke to Virgil, voice calm, yet not open for argument.

"You thought wrong," the other scoffed in return.

"You two will be stuck here until we decide what your punishment will be." Roman cut in.

"You will never keep us here, alive." Logan promised, an evil glint in his eyes.

The two heroes walked away, leaving the two villains locked up in a cage, which was foolishly made out of metal, allowing them to escape, and even if the heroes never admitted it, they had grown quite fond of the villains, and would never wish to hurt them, so if they escaped, it wasn't to be blamed on the heroes. They hadn't put them in that cage...

-Satan_- and I worked on this together, part one is in their book. It's was fun to do, and I've decided I like writing with someone else.
We bounced ideas back and forth and we came up with a pretty good oneshot in my opinion.
Hope you enjoyed
Take care
