Logan sighed, and pushed his glasses up for the umpteenth time. How he hated having these glasses, they were just too big, and he couldn't do anything to stop them sliding down. They didn't fit his face, and he hated it.
He noticed how Patton's glasses fit him perfectly, and that they just... worked. They belonged on his face. Unlike Logan's.
He sighed, and found himself growing even closer to throwing his glasses across the room in frustration.
That evening, Patton and Logan switched glasses, purely for scientific purposes. In conclusion, they had the same prescription, which made Logan's idea work even better.
Once he was certain Patton was asleep, he switched out their glasses. He just hoped for one day where he didn't want to break his glasses out of frustration.
The following morning, Patton noticed something was off about his glasses, yet he wasn't sure what, and just pushed it aside.
Roman came in and booped Patton on the nose, which caused a small giggle to escape the fatherly trait, and he watched as Virgil came in and leaned into Roman's warm embrace, trying to keep his eyes open.
Logan was the last to come in, he smiled, and fiddled with his tie a little. Patton noticed he wasn't pushing up his glasses as often as before, yet Patton was.
It made him a little suspicious, and he was going to talk to Logan about it after breakfast.
Logan sighed, and watched as the younger two traits fought over who watched what on the TV, Logan knew it would inevitably lead to one pinned beneath the other, their lips attached, and that was not something Logan wanted to be around for.
Logan retreated to his bedroom, and set about working on Thomas' schedule, only to be interrupted by a knock at the door.
He answered, and noticed it was Patton. He pushed up his glasses, out of habit, and invited the fatherly trait into the room.
"How may I be of assistance?"
"I know it sounds crazy but do you still have my glasses, I don't remember switching back last night."
"No, we switched back, I am almost certain. Why?"
"Mine are too big, and yours fit perfectly, when normally it's the other way around."
Logan hung his head.
"You do know you can summon new glasses, and they will fit better?"
"I did not..."
Patton sighed, and handed Logan his glasses back, and in response, Logan handed Patton's glasses back. Their hands brushed during the exchange, which caused a blush to coat both of their cheeks.
"I-I..." Patton stuttered.
"Just kiss already!" A voice called from down the hall, followed by a shriek, and then it went quiet, probably from Roman shutting Virgil up.
Their faces darkened, and Logan found his voice first. "I would not be opposed to that idea."
Patton looked up, a glimmer of hope in his eyes, causing the Logical trait to send him a small smile. Patton grabbed Logan's tie, ignoring his protests, and pulled him closer, pressing their lips together, it was a slow and loving kiss, that didn't last too long, yet both sides were happy with it.
When they parted, Patton grinned, and Logan found his cheeks feeling hotter than before.
They ended up cuddling on the smarter aspects bed, talking and eventually succumbing to the desire for sleep.
