I grabbed the two plates, walking them over to the sink only to feel a pair of arms wrap around my waist. "I can do those love, my way of an apology."
"I can wash a few dishes." I shrugged him off, running some hot water to clear away the remains from dinner.
"Well I have to say that was the best meal you've cooked in a long time, I don't deserve you." I didn't reply, focusing instead on washing up, but he quickly appeared again. "Have I mentioned how sorry I am for earlier, I really am so lucky to have you."
"Dean, I told you I'd forgiven you hours ago, please stop apologising and just drop it." He sighed, but nodded his head, looking to the floor in shame.
"You're right, I'm sorry." I paused, turning to him, shooting him a glare. "Oh right...yeah, stop apologising. Sorry. Damn it."
"You're such a loser," I giggled, raising a smile as I placed the final piece of cutlery on the drainer.
"Perhaps so, but I don't think you'd ever have me any other way," he teased, rewrapping his arms around my waist, pulling me away from the sink whilst peppering kisses along my jaw.
