"Dean!" I shouted, instantly feeling my heart pulsating in my chest. "Come quickly!"
"What? What is it?" He leaned on the door frame, panting for breath having just ran from the other side of the house.
"There's a spider." I pointed to the massive spider running across the worktop as I began to prepare dinner.
"It's tiny," he chuckled, walking a little closer towards it to get a better look. "Are you seriously wanting me to get rid of this little fella?"
"Of course I am, it's horrible." I stood back allowing Dean to slowly move his hands towards the fast moving spider.
"Come on buddy," he whispered as if he were talking to a much cuter animal.
"For the love of god just kill it, stop faffing around." Dean shook his head, in one quick movement taking it in his hands.
"Sure you don't want to look at it?" He asked, moving it towards me.
"No!" I ran to the other side of the kitchen, watching as Dean took it to the window, letting it out through the small gap.
"You're such a baby," he teased, wiping his hands on his shorts.
"You can go now," I retorted, going back to the worktop whilst he left the room.
