"Come on man! Move!" I looked across at Seth with a laugh as he continued to lean forward in his seat. "It's green!"
"Babe! Chill out." He shook his head, tapping his hand on the steering wheel.
"What's this guy waiting for, Christmas?" Eventually the car in front of us began to move, slowly. "If we're late now I'm not going to be happy."
"We aren't going to be late," I whispered, reaching across to place my hand on his thigh.
"You don't know that, the traffic could be horrendous the rest of the way." I squeezed harder on his thigh, making him jump.
"You're panicking over nothing, focus on driving." He nodded, staring forwards.
"Sorry, I just don't like making people wait," he said, justifying his actions. "I swear some people shouldn't be on the road."
"But you can't help that, so just stay calm and drive." His head continued to move in a nodding motion.
Seth took a few deep breaths, brushing his hair back out of his face.
"Calm?" I asked once his breathing was back to normal.
"Yeah, I think." I let go of his leg, confident that I was back in a relaxed car.
"Just worry about getting to work," I whispered before grabbing my phone.
