His eyes had been fixated on me all night, watching my every move.
"You alright?" I asked eventually, catching the little smirk on his face. "You've been acting weird all evening?"
"Me?" He aske cluelessly, "I'm doing good."
We fell silent once more as I watched his eyes momentarily glance down at his food before glancing back at me.
"Seriously." I chuckled, throwing my hands in the air.
"Do you want to know something, I don't know what's more beautiful tonight than you?" I looked at him, slightly puzzled, placing my hands in my lap.
"Is that a good thing?"
He looked back at me with the exact same expression, eyes going wide. "I didn't mean it like that, I meant that you just look exceptionally nice tonight, like super nice."
"So I don't look nice normally?" I teased. Seth sighed, shaking his head.
"No, I wasn't meaning it badly...sorry, I t-take it back." I couldn't help but smile at his defensive approach, as his smile fell.
"I'm just messing with you love, I know exactly what you meant, thank you." I blew him a kiss across the table, watching his cheeky grin reappear.
"Good, because you seriously do look out of this world tonight!"
