With Emily as healer, you'll be sure to have teammates at full health quickly, decreasing the chance of the hunter easily getting survivors incapacitated. Start off decoding. Do your best to make sure that everyone is at full health. If everyone is back at full health, then continue decoding.
William is the most efficient kiter as he has faster pallet-dropping and vaulting speeds. Plus, he can stun the hunter and stun the hunter to save people tied up in balloons if nearby. DO NOT DECODE. Find the hunter at all costs and make sure you're the first survivor he sees. If the hunter ignores you, stun him over and over again until he does.
Helena is 30% faster at decoding than average. Of course, you can choose Tracy, but then everything she does is greatly decreased when a survivor is hurt. Helena is the best surefire way to get ciphers done. She can also show you where the hunter is, giving other survivors higher chances of avoiding the hunter. Use the stick at the very start of the match. After that, find ciphers and decode them. Do not rescue or heal. Just DECODE. Each time after finishing a cipher, use the stick.
With Kevin, you can always be sure to save a survivor in a rocket chair, when they are incapacitated, or when they're being chased by the hunter and they're not William. The other roles also play to his advantage, as when he's not playing hero there are two other females for him to decode with, and let's be honest ; William decoding is pretty much useless. Decode if you've found a lady.
Strategies:
-William can keep stunning the hunter while Emily is healing a non-kiter teammate nearby
-Kevin can trail the hunter to determine the best time to lasso a survivor
-If Kevin lassoes a survivor then he should probably find Emily and drop the survivor off with her
-If you're William, make yourself the main target of chase and do not let others fall victim
-If you're Emily, always keep healing at first priority and decoding second
-If you're Helena, keep the pattern: decode, finish cipher, smack the ground, find cipher, repeat
-If you're Kevin, decode only if you've found one of the ladies but keep rescuing in first priority
