Y/N's P.O.V

Why me. Why, why, why? Lord knows I'm shit at kiting, but of course I get spawned next to the hunter. William can kite. Servais can kite. Vera can kite. But I get stuck kiting. Whoever planned that obviously wants to send me to hell. If not hell, then back to the manor first.

I run and run, finding any pallet I can and trying to slam it in Leo's face, but of course I'm failing. I run everywhere I can, avoiding the decoders. What the hell is William doing anyway? He's the kiter, plus he's shit at decoding, but he's still decoding, leaving me who is 35% faster at decoding than other survivors and who's vaulting and palleting skills are slower than others by 15% to kite the hunter. Fuck you, Ellis!

Before long, I decided to vault. But, fate hates me, and I end up getting terror shocked. Leo ties me in a balloon. I don't even try to struggle. My teammates can still get a win with me gone, so they probably won't save me. Leo put me in a rocket chair and I don't even struggle then.

I sat there for a bit, thinking that it's going to be pointless to ask for help. I decided to ask for it anyway, hoping that at least one of them would be decent enough to save me. What am I doing, they wouldn't do it. Wait, is that-

"Servais?"

Servais was running right towards me, but then he then stopped right next to me. I was confused, but then I was rescued by someone invisible. He used the wand! Of course! I ran and ran like my life depended on it even though the most I would suffer if I lost was a bit of a headache and nausea.

When Leo was out of sight, I stopped. I realized that Servais was running behind me the whole time screaming 'Don't move, I help you!' but I was too busy running to notice. Once Servais managed to get to where I was, he was panting like crazy. I giggled a bit.

"You okay, Servais?" I asked. He nodded, although I noticed that he looked hurt. Wait, did he? Oh please, tell me he didn't.

"Servais, did you- Did you take the hit for me?" I questioned, my voice shaking a bit. He nodded like it was nothing. No! He can't have! He won't have! He shouldn't have!

"Why did you do it?! You could have gotten incapacitated if you weren't careful! You shouldn't have done it! Not for me!" I yelled out, exasperated.

"Well why shouldn't I have?" He asked back with a small smile. "Because, you could have gotten yourself into a rocket chair! My rescue isn't worth you getting hurt and you getting one step closer to being sent back to the manor! I'm not worth anything you do!" Before I could continue, I burst into tears.

Servais stopped smiling right after I burst out. "Woah, easy there. It's just a hit. We do it all the time to buy time for escape. Have no one ever done that for you before?" He asked me. I shook my head and managed to sob out "N-no, I-I'm never worth e-enough t-to save."

Servais' P.O.V

I can't believe it. Has no one ever done such a simple thing for Y/N?

I've always had a small crush on Y/N. Oh who am I kidding, I think I'm in love with her. I've always thought she was the most perfect woman alive. To hear her talking so bad about herself made me mad at myself. How have I not noticed the way she felt about herself? I should have been there to console her, to assure her she was worth something, in fact, everything in my eyes.

Before I knew it, I threw my arms around Y/N. I could feel her shaking, which caused me to hug her tighter. I pulled back when I realized what I was doing. Y/N looked at me completely confused. I feel heat rushing to my face. "I-I'm sorry, Y/N. I shouldn't have done that, I'll go now."

I run away from Y/N and towards an exit gate since during our talk the others have already finished decoding. I'm probably being crowed, so I push William away from the decoding pad and start entering the password instead of him despite his complaints about being pushed.

I finished and ran straight to escaping, embarrassed that I ever involved myself in physical contact with Y/N. Right after I escaped, I suddenly remembered that Y/N isn't with me. SHIT! I ran away without her, she's probably still in the map! I can't go back now! Why am I such an idiot? She'll never forgive me now...

I slumped myself into a chair next to Hyla. "Well why so down, Vaisie?" She asked me nonchalantly. "Not now, Host-chan." I grumbled. I probably just messed up my chance of ever getting together with Y/N, I don't need Hyla's crap right now.

"Ouch, Vaisie. Just because you're heartbroken doesn't mean you need to be mean to me." Hyla clutched her chest like I just said the greatest of insults to her and faked a hurt face before smiling. "Aw, don't worry Vaisie. I'm the matchmaker in this manor. I'll have you two together in no time."

I feel my spirits rising. "You can do that?" Hyla scoffed. "Of course I can. I got Kreacher and Freddy together, didn't I?" I smile. I'll finally be able to be with Y/N! I hug Hyla in thanks. "By the way, Y/N escaped through the dungeon." Hyla said. I nodded in return. "Uh, stop hugging me please." Hyla pushed me away. I laughed. "You don't like hugs, huh." Hyla shook her head.

Me and Hyla were talking about how I could get me and Y/N together when I see Y/N hiding behind a corner. Hyla winks at me. "Go get her, tiger." I nodded before chasing Y/N.

"Y/N! Y/N!" I scream after her. She was running away from me. She looked behind, but once she saw me she ran faster. I continue screaming Y/N's name and chasing her until she finally stopped and stormed in front of me.

"What do you want?!" She shouted in my face. I was shocked by the sudden outburst. "Are you angry at me?" I asked. "It's none of your business!" She screamed. "What's wrong?" I asked, concerned. "I thought the hug meant something, you know. That was until I saw you do the same to Hyla then talking to her." She muttered before walking away.

I was more shocked by what she said. "Were you- jealous?" I asked softly. Y/N nodded before starting to walk again, but I stopped her by grabbing her arm. "You don't understand. I only hugged her because, well, because she promised to get us together and I was really excited-" I shut my mouth before I said any more. I feel the heat rushing to my cheeks again.

"R-Really?" I nodded. "I don't have feelings for Hyla, I have feelings for you." Y/N smiled and before I knew it, she grabbed me by the collar of my shirt and kissed me on the lips. I smiled and kissed her back. This is what I always wanted. I was smiling through the kiss and I could tell Y/N was too. It was perfect.

But of course, Hyla being Hyla, she interrupted.

"Well well, looks like it worked." Hyla said, standing right there, slow clapping. "You didn't do anything, Servais admitted his feelings." Y/N said. "Didn't your landing point after you went into the dungeon seem a little different?" Hyla asked. Y/N nodded. "Yeah, I spawned right next to the corner I was hiding behind when I saw you and Servais hugging."

Hyla smiled. I realized what Hyla did. "Hyla, did you spawn Y/N near us so that she would get jealous?" Hyla only smiled wider and nodded. I feel myself blushing for the third time this day and I saw Y/N was too. "Well, I'll leave you lovebirds to it. I need to repair an argument between Frederick and broski." Hyla said before snapping her fingers and teleporting away.

I looked at Y/N. She was so pretty like this, blushing and awkward. "So, about that kiss-" I started but was interrupted by Y/N wrapping her arms around my neck and kissing me. "I guess that's a valid answer." I smirked through the kiss. Y/N responded by kicking me.
