Sometimes I have a good day
The songs are perfect
The moments are perfect
And I only have positive thoughts
Then it's almost like the entire day gets derailed
It goes off-key
And I don't quite understand why
All I want is one day where my emotions don't turn against me
One day where I can forget all my cares
One day where I don't just switch off at random moments
One day where the sorrow doesn't catch hold of me
But I guess we have to deal with the off-key notes too
Our lives cannot be a perfect symphony
