It was Friday and classes were finally over! Virgil was walking to the dining hall with the others who were finished with class. A few of the others were still in class and finishing up their midterms. Roman decided to help Virgil again today. Roman seemed rather nervous as he walked around with Virgil.

"Everything okay?" Virgil asked.

Roman nearly dropped the plate at the sound of Virgil's voice.

"Yeah. I'm fine," he laughed nervously.

Virgil raised his eyebrow.

"Really?" Virgil asked.

Roman took a deep breath and set the plate on the counter turning to face Virgil.

"Yes," he said a little calmer. "I just... I wanted to..." Roman took another deep breath. "Do you remember what we talked about last week?"

"We talked about a lot of things, Princey."

Roman sighed.

"The deal."

"With Patton?"

Roman nodded.

"Yeah."

"What about it?"

Roman took another deep breath.

"Well... the thing is... I kind of... um... ugh! Why is this so difficult!"

"Take your time," Virgil laughed.

"I like you," Roman blurted out.

What? He didn't move. He couldn't move. Roman liked him? Roman liked him? Roman liked him? Why him? What did he even see in him? Was this some kind of joke? This had to be a joke. Shit! Roman was still talking!

"I'm sorry, what?" Virgil asked.

"I... I was wondering if you wanted to join me for a scary movie marathon or something? Halloween is tomorrow and I figured it'd be your... style?" Roman offered.

"I... um... like a... date?"

Roman nodded sheepishly. He hadn't thought of Roman like that before. He did have to admit, Roman could be really sweet sometimes. He offered to help him with Spanish and he always invited him to watch movies with everyone else.

"O-okay," Virgil said. "S-sure."

Roman grinned at him.

"Really?!"

"Yeah," Virgil said nodding.

"You won't regret it, I promise!" Roman said with the biggest grin on his face.

Virgil couldn't help but smile at Roman's giddiness. Roman set the plate down and whispered something in Patton's ear. Patton gasped and grinned at the two of them. Virgil blushed at the attention and turned to stare at his plate. Patton hugged him.

"Did he really ask you?" Patton asked quietly.

"We're doing a scary movie marathon tomorrow," Virgil muttered.

Patton squealed in delight.

"Oh, I'm so happy for you, Kiddos!"

Virgil playfully pushed Patton away. He giggled as he turned to his own plate.

Later, Roman, Patton, Thomas, Joan, and Virgil were hanging out in Patton's room. Janus and Remus were doing who knows what and Logan still hadn't returned since this morning. Patton was sitting on the edge of his bed bouncing his leg nervously.
