TW cursing
Virgil walked out of class making sure his hood was still up. Luckily, he didn't miss much. He didn't want to talk to the others but he couldn't go home either. He felt his phone buzz. He looked down to see Patton had texted him.
Want to eat lunch with us?
He wasn't sure what he was expecting, but this wasn't it. He wanted to ignore him. He wanted to walk away, but he couldn't push this off forever. He had to see Roman and Patton in class tomorrow. He sighed as he texted Patton back.
Sure... What time?
Patton didn't waste time responding.
We're heading to the dining hall now. Meet you there.
He wondered how many were in "we." He pocketed his phone and walked towards the dining hall preparing himself for the worst. His body was tense causing his stomach to hurt again. He wanted nothing more than to hide in his room. Perfect. He was going to have to try to eat in front of a bunch of people trying to figure out what happened to his eye.
He walked into the dining hall paying the man at the front. He found Patton sitting with the others at one of the round tables. All seven of them. He groaned before he walked over to them. Thomas perked up upon seeing him.
"Virgil!" he said.
"I didn't think you'd show up," Janus muttered.
Virgil shot him a look before setting his stuff down between Roman and Logan.
"Janus, be nice," Patton said.
Virgil walked away and grabbed a plate to fill. He decided to pick something light to pick at. Maybe that'll help his appetite. He got a bowl of soup and some fries setting them both down before grabbing a drink.
"That doesn't look very healthy," Logan said as Virgil sat down.
He shrugged.
"As long as it tastes good. The fries here actually aren't bad," he said, "I'm a little skeptical of the soup though."
"What kind do they have today?" Roman asked.
"Some kind of potato."
Roman frowned before turning to his plate.
"I wonder what kind of desserts they have today," Remus said.
"No! The second you go to that table you're going to ignore everything else on your plate!" Janus scolded.
Remus smiled at him innocently.
"What's wrong with dessert?"
"Just eat your damn chicken," Janus muttered.
"Janus!" Patton scolded.
Janus held up his hands in mock surrender.
"Sorry, I forgot."
"You don't like cursing?" Virgil asked.
Patton shook his head.
"There are better ways to say things."
"Eat your fucking chicken!" Joan said.
"No!" Patton yelled.
Roman snorted water as the rest of the table erupted into laughter. Patton held a disapproving gaze while Logan seemed unfazed by the events around him. Virgil couldn't help but smile while Roman tried to clean up his drink.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I couldn't help myself!" Joan said, "It was too perfect!"
"I don't actually want to-" Remus started.
