The Date

TW anxiety, minor panic attack

They waited eagerly in Virgil's room. Twenty minutes after the door Patton and Logan were hiding behind had closed it was opened. Logan froze when he saw everyone sitting in his room. He frowned.

"What are you doing in here?" he asked.

They smiled at him.

"So?" Janus asked.

"Not you too," Logan groaned.

"Why are you asking Logan?" Roman asked. "We'll get more details from Patton!"

Virgil watched the others leave for Patton's room. Soon, it was just Logan and Virgil.

"You aren't going to join them?" Logan asked.

Virgil shrugged.

"I wouldn't mind hearing your point of view."

Logan smiled before closing the door. He sat down next to Virgil on his bed.

"So?" Virgil asked.

"Patton has feelings for me," Logan said as if processing the words. "He has feelings for me."

"He told you?"

Logan nodded.

"He said he liked me and he'd understand if I didn't want to be in a relationship due to the complications I have with my family."

"What'd you say?"

"Nothing at first. I didn't know what to say."

"So you didn't say anything?!"

Logan turned away but Virgil caught him blushing.

"I... I was a little overwhelmed. After what happened with Hannah and seeing him upset like that and finding out he reciprocates my feelings... I might have... kissed him?"

Virgil smiled as he covered his mouth with his hands.

"You kissed him?!"

Logan buried his hands in his face and nodded.

"I didn't even think! I just sort of... did it! I've always thought everything through! I've never acted on impulse before!"

"What'd he say?!"

Logan looked up.

"Patton?"

"No, Hannah."

Logan rolled his eyes.

"I... apologized... for being so blunt. He didn't say anything at first. He said it was fine and we decided to go for a romantic outing?"

"You're going on a date?"

Logan nodded.

"And... your parents?"

Logan looked at the door.

"Right now, I don't really care about what they think. I've never really... felt like this before. I've hardly felt anything before all of this. It's scary and nauseating. Gosh, I feel like I'm going to mess this all up. I've never dated before in my life!"

"Logan! Calm down! Breathe!"

Logan took a deep breath before continuing.

"But... I'm also excited to see what happens next. It's all so new to me. I don't really know what to make of it all. But I'm tired of trying to suppress it! I've been ignoring how I feel for so long now and it's just... tiring! And knowing he feels the same..."
