Hello!
I know it's been a long while since I've last posted. In fact, I believe it's been over a year! I want to explain things and give an update on how it's all going.
1. No, I have not given up or forgotten this story. I have ideas all the time and I can't get it out of my head. What I hope to do is at least finish this book before posting again so that I won't have to miss any more updates before actually completing the story!
2. I have actually been insanely busy recently! I moved again and now I work 2 jobs to make ends meet. Both of my roommates are currently in college and therefore don't have as much time to dedicate towards jobs for bills. Currently I don't have the time or motivation to maintain this story.
3. My ADHD has been focusing on all kinds of other projects. Currently, my biggest fixation is trying to find ways I can earn money by writing. I managed to publish a children's book, start a blog, and even make a Patreon page. If any of you would like to try to support me, my Patreon's lowest tier is $3 a month. It isn't much, but every little bit helps in the long run! Here are the links to both my Patreon and blog if you'd like to support either. Both are still works in progress!

4. One big project I also have is creating a podcast that will allow my fans to hear short stories of mine and accrue money based on sponsors rather than the fans themselves. As long as people listen to my podcast, the ads will make money for me. The website I'm using for this makes it rather easy to earn money through sponsors and while I've only posted one episode with a single ad and almost no listeners, I've already managed to collect a little over a dollar. It isn't much, but I know if I work on it, I'll have more. But this will take up a lot of my time to maintain.
5. The reason I went on hiatus in the first place: I managed to better my mental health significantly. It took me a year but I'm in a much better place than I was. I can get up in the morning and I know what it's like to be happy and smile. I found my will to live. It's been a long and hard journey but I've made it very far and now I have an apartment all my own and a girlfriend I love very much. That being said, while my mental health is better, my physical health still needs a little work. I am trying to engrain working out and eating healthy in my routine which takes a bit of work to really maintain. Also, with having my own apartment, I have to focus more of my time to keeping my space clean and cooking proper meals.
I still want to work on this story, and I know once I have a little more time to just write, it will be possible and so much easier. Right now I am writing in between jobs and even during. I am trying to establish a proper routine but right now I am just trying to make ends meet and it can be really hard. It is still a lot of stress. I am not sure when exactly I will be able to come back to this story full-time, but if any of you are willing to just look over some other content I have available it would help a great deal. Even if you can't financially contribute, just having a little traffic toward my sites help! If you would like to share any of my works that would also help a great deal!
Thank you all for your patience and support over the years and I promise one of these days I will come back to everything!
