TW cursing, homophobia, mention of self-harm and suicide
Fri Nov 13
Virgil was glad it was Friday, but he really didn't feel like going to work later. He'd rather just keep doing his homework with his friends. He and Patton were going over the history notes again when Logan sat down. Logan whispered something to Thomas, who nodded in response. A few moments later, Thomas asked Patton to walk with him. Once they were gone, Logan turned to the others.
"You filled her bed with lube?" Logan asked.
The others burst into laughter.
"Did she tell you?!" Remus asked wiping tears from his eyes.
"Yes, she complained that someone filled her bed with what she thought was lube and left her a vaguely threatening note."
"Oh! We just said that she needed to leave Patton alone or we'd come back for round two!" Janus said.
"Yes, well it seems like all you've done is piss her off!"
"Does she suspect it's us, though?" Remus asked.
"Why does that matter?!"
"I take pride in a job well done!" Remus huffed.
"Do you think she's going to leave Patton alone?" Virgil asked.
"Honestly, I don't know what she's going to do. I hardly understand that girl!" Logan snapped.
"Well, we'll be ready for whatever she has in store for us!" Roman said.
"Oh trust me, I'm already planning round two!" Remus said rubbing his hands together.
"Did you ever stop to think that you might be going too far? What's to stop her from retaliating?" Logan asked.
"Promise?" Remus said.
Logan groaned and rolled his eyes as he pulled out a book.
"I'm officially out! Whatever you guys plan next better not involve me!" Logan said as he opened his book.
"I think we'll manage," Janus said.
Thomas and Patton joined them a few minutes later. Virgil decided to do some reading while the others worked on their own things. Roman, Thomas, and Joan had a late rehearsal, so Logan drove Virgil to work. They sat in silence for a while before Logan sighed.
"I shouldn't have agreed to help," Logan muttered.
Virgil turned away from the window to face Logan.
"What do you mean?" Virgil asked.
"I shouldn't have helped you guys. She started yelling at me about it earlier."
"Geez, Lo. Why didn't you say something?"
"I thought I did."
"You told us what she said, you didn't say she knew it was us or that she was yelling at you."
"Well, she wasn't actually yelling, more like ranting. She's obviously upset about all of this. I just don't see how any of this is going to solve the issue."
"Well, what do you think we're going to do? Tell her parents?"
"Oh! Why didn't I think of that!" Logan groaned. "We could have talked to a professor or a counselor or someone!"
"What are they going to do Logan? Sit the two down and have a nice chat? Maybe serve up some tea?"
"No, but we'd probably end up with a better solution than pissing her off! I don't know what she's going to do now! She may end up trying to come after us all now."
